Wagon flat (Site 1)
Robert was super easy to deal with and super accommodating, we had a group of 9 people with 6 vehicles camped on the Wagon Flat site which he approved quickly through messages before we booked the site.
The camp site was super clean and we had toilets nearby which made life easy.
Overall it was a great experience, nice bit of land located close to Victor Harbor and a variety of beaches.

Excellent host with great communication. We stayed for one night. It was picturesque, the cattle and sheep grazing in adjoining paddocks was a delight. The kangaroos also hopped by. It was very relaxing, well signed and a wonderful location. Would highly recommend. Thank you for having us :)

Great shady camping, recommend.
Early March 2024. Great shady camping spot. Lot of mature trees in clumps but plenty of flat space to camp beside trees so not in danger of overhanging branches falling. Farm animals in paddocks around camp. Sheep, cattle & 1 alpaca. Not noisy. Also kangaroos. Bird noises. Robert is polite & happy to talk about his farm & animals. No potable water, I knew that. No shower, also knew. Positive I saw review that said there was a water hole I intended to have dip in. But Robert says there isn't. Porta-loo within easy walking distance. Clean & works well. Foot pedals to flush loo & also for hand basin water. Foam soap. Saw reviews said to bring your own loo paper but good supply of paper. Still, best to have just in case. Not too big camping area so not too many other campers. Plenty of space from each other if you want. Road is good. Don't need 4WD. Only 10 - 15 minutes to Encounter Bay & Victor Harbour. No ants, flies or biting insects. Didn't notice mossies. Compared to most HipCamps nearby that also don't have potable water or facilities, no camp kitchen, shower, some not even a toilet - except Harry's - Robert's is cheapest. So good value for money camping spot being offered by farmer happy to share his property with others. Appreciate Robert's generosity, respect. Definitely recommend Robert's farm for short or long stay. Bit more comfortable if self-sufficient with caravan or motor home facilities. But I only have camper van. Happy camper. Thanks Robert.

Nice little property, quiet and close to everywhere for exploring. The owner is very easy to get on with, will definitely call in next time we are going past.
