Loved our Stay at Wynola Country Cousins!
Great helpful hosts who made finding the site a breeze.
Views and scenery were amazing, and will return again soon (next time for longer!).
Dogs loved it too and we were even fortunate enough to see some platypus.
Definitely bring a second blanket if youre staying during Winter, our night got down to -3 degrees, all apart of the experience.

Amazing location what a great retreat! We had such a fantastic weekend. Thoroughly recommend this place we will definitely be coming back. Seeing the platypus casually swimming up and down the river next to our campsite was an added bonus!
Absolutely loved it here! Peace and quiet, camp site was huge. Lots of space. Both of our dogs loved the all the exploring available. Great and easy communication between Jo and Bernie. Would certainly recommend.

Private creek front camp site and beautiful mountain backdrop. A very relaxing and enjoyable setting for a short break.
Absolutely perfect, quiet, phone and internet free location to totally disconnect from busy life. Beautifully tended camping area by the Condamine River. Lovely host leaving us to our own space and time. The location lives up to its name.....we did indeed see Platypus!!
Was amazing right next to the water. I would say you could have 3 smallish vans set up on this site, possibly 4 if you did it right. In the gully in and out of service (Telstra) basically none. Beautiful view of the gorge. River crossing was very deep. Bernie showed us through his property and around to get to the site. We ended up leaving through the main road tough even with our small hyrbid camper. Water was lovely to swim in a bit brisk. Lovely and quiet and well spaced out from other campsites. Very minimal bugs and mozies. Lovely and grassy and stumps around the fire to sit on or use as coffee tables.
Brilliant stay and cracker of a spot. Why definitely return. Thanks Bernie

Bernie & Jo have a beautiful part of the country. We had a lovely spot by the river which was very private and peaceful. We will be going back for sure.
We camped at Platypus Reach in our caravan and would rate this camping spot very highly. Great communication and welcome from host Bernie who provided information about the area, things to do etc. The camp spot was spacious and beautifully mowed/maintained. We camped beside the river and enjoyed visits from Platypus, wallabies and loads of different bird species. We did a 1 hour walk (mowed track and bushland) along the river and up over a hill with scenic views of the valley below and the hills in the distance which had a waterfall flowing. Killarney is a short 10 minute drive away if food supplies run low or you feel like a great country pub lunch/dinner.

I can't even begin to say how much i loved this camp site. Firstly Jo amd Bernie was amazing, extremely hospitable and bernie had freshly mowed our site ready for our stay. The site was like nothing else, so peaceful and beautiful. I saw my first ever platypus frolicking in the river and plenty of turtles and other wildlife. This place is beyond stunning and will 100% be returning.
