Excellent hosts, beautiful 360 degree views from the hill top camp spots and quality dry firewood. Bloody brilliant. Great location less than 10 min to Goomeri. Cheers for having us!

Rob & Donna were amazing hosts. Donna greeted us with a complimentary carton of fresh eggs and was so welcoming. Donna then guided us to our camp spot on her quad bike. We towed our 21.6 caravan to the spot and it was absolutely amazing with a view in every direction, free firewood and the most beautiful sunset/sunrise. We had the whole place to ourselves and will definitely be back.

Wow what an amazing place to camp. The nearest campers were hundreds of metres away on another ridge. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. A bit windy in the afternoon but settled down in the evening. The eggs provided by our hosts were to die for. So much fire wood provided. Can't recommend highly enough. Our hosts were amazing. Will definitely be back.

STUNNING! What a beautiful property Rob and Donna have and how lucky that they are sharing it with hipcampers. Rob was a gem who gave us a free dozen fresh eggs and had a pile of firewood ready to go at our campsite. The view was breathtaking from the top of the hill campsite where we were. You would need 4wd to access our site, but I think there are other sites a little more tame? We managed to tow up our 13ft Offroad van easily up the Rocky hills. The stars were glorious at night and we heard different owls and animals around us. I can’t wait to go back again soon!

Ready made fire pit with wood ready to go!Lots of lovely bush walks with stunning viewsAlmost 360 degree view from our location on the property!Golden hour

We had a lovely time at Wonga Creek Retreat, starting on arrival with Donna’s offer of fresh eggs and then arriving at the site with more wood than we could use in our two nights. The very large private site had beautiful 360 degree views and the night sky was extraordinary. We will never forget our time as we were lucky enough to see a meteorite shower as well as satellites and falling stars. Goomeri nearby is only 15mins to an outstanding bakery, great pub and bric a brac shop which were all terrific. The walk up the steps at nearby Boat Mountain is well worth it. Had a really interesting chat with Rob and Donna about their efforts on the property too. Many thanks to them both for a great time.

Fantastic spot and better hosts. Rob and Donna were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Loved our time there and it was very enjoyable. The sites are well spaced and there was plenty to see and do. The views from each of the campsites are brilliant too.
