Best access is down Merragallan Rd beside the Malanda Lodge. Google maps will send you to the far side of the bridgeworks which is not on the campground side.

Williams Creek Campground is located on the banks of one of the Atherton Tableland's most pristine water courses. You will be nestled among the cow paddocks and surrounded by beautiful wildlife corridors.

Campers can enjoy swimming and fishing in pools in the creek. There is access to walking tracks into town and we are located only 500m from Malanda Lodge.

We are located just off the highway, perfect for an overnight stay or longer break.

Cairns and a number of National Parks are all within reach from the campsite if you feel like a day trip out exploring the region.

Campfires and pets are both welcome to join you during your stay. Please ensure pets are kept under control and fire safety is maintained at all times.

Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.

It is a quiet spot on a beautiful creek with an amazing waterfall to swim in. Also found swimming places near where the bridge is being replaced. Firewood is available for $10 a bag, fireplace, own fresh water tap, very friendly hosts and the position of the camp is close to Malanda, the lakes district not far to Atherton and Milla Milla. Even though the rain came down on the last 2 days that we were there, it didn't spoil what was a very relaxing time for us. I would recommend and we would return.

Absolutely beautiful spot! So easy to find and the restaurant up the road was amazing! The best slow cooked meat I’ve ever had 😅
Perfect spot to camp the night on our travels up North.
The dogs loved the creek and playing in the water. Would 100% recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Williams Creek. Two camp sites not too close together. Site 1 is an open grassy area. Site 2 is more private with shady trees. Would love to visit again.
* If you visit while they’re still building the bridge, don’t follow Google maps, turn off at the Malanda Lodge.

The property was easy to find with very accessible campsites and good access to water. Beautiful weather with plenty of cool southerly breezes on hot days. The established fire pit was great for our camp meals.

We enjoyed exploring the creek in our kayak and even caught some jungle perch with a spot of fishing! Our 3yo loved camping at this site.

We will be back.

2 lovely spots above the river, not close enough together to be 'worried' about the neighbours. Site 2 is in a 'corner' with a lot of lovely shade cover for most of the day. Camping area is right near the road but it's a quiet road. Tap water available at each site. Canoes available for the river. I would go back.
