Guests love staying in this self-contained restored 100 year old classic cottage. Located at the end of a quiet country lane, close to everything but a million miles away in peace, quiet and ambience with no neighbours, you'll feel like you're living in your own private rainforest retreat. The Cottage is equipped with all the comforts of home like full kitchen plus baby Weber bbq on the verandah; bathroom with loads of towels & washing machine; air conditioning and verandah views over the tropical gardens and visiting wallabies and birdlife. The Cottage is about 5 minutes from Airlie Beach so has the convenience of accessing the islands, Great Barrier Reef and rainforest walks by day, plus the peace and quiet of evenings away from what is quite a party town at night with live music in many venues and a great choice of restaurant dining if that's what you're after. Regret no pets.

      Great little cottage 7’ from Airlie
      Amazing quiet little cottage still so close to everything! The cottage is well equipped, and has good phone reception (Vodafone). we had a really good time up in Airlie Beach for 6 nights. Suzette was very responsive and gave us the sweetest mangoes we ever ate! Highly recommended.

      Quiet retreat.
      Great spot. So close to everything, but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with the bush surrounding you. Suzette was very welcoming on arrival and, once set up, we felt like we were by ourselves during our stay.

      We wish we didn’t have to leave
      We had an absolute blast in this super cute cottage. Suzette and Adrian were great to deal with, the place was immaculately kept and we loved every minute of our stay.

      Nice quiet spot
      A nice quiet spot to use as a base to explore the area. The owners are wildlife carers and care for the environment. Our campervan spot was quiet and leafy, but be aware there are not wide spaces to walk in or explore. A nice respite from the over- developed vibe of Airlie Beach.
