The Dam Wall is large, & opens out to a grassy spillway as you drive in.
There is room for two 6 meters caravans and a camping trailer if you use the spillway & the wall.
This site is restricted to 6 adults on instant book, but if you are a family with kids you are welcome to send us a message, we may be able to accommodate a larger group, if it includes kids.

You are the only group at the dam, however we do have neighbours and this is why the quiet time of 9:30pm applies in all of our sites.
You will need a 4WD if towing & access is via a narrow winding farm track. If not towing a 2WD will be fine.
Access is via gate 4, and not gate 3 where the other camp sites are.
This site is perfect for families that like to be close to the water.
Please be aware that it can get busy in summer as our other campers also use the dam frequently.
There is a fire pit, and firewood is free to collect. Small chain saw is permitted.
We love our bushland and animal life, and try to do our best in preserving the natural beauty of our environment and let people enjoy the sounds of birds and nature. We would prefer to share this with like minded people.
We would appreciate that you read and agree with our property rules before you book or request to book. You can read them on the next screen after you put in your dates and amount of people, don't worry you wont be charged or locked in on the booking at that stage.

We always love staying at the Rustic Resort and this time was no exception. Doris is open and welcoming. The facilities are well kept. The Dam site was secluded and peaceful - our favourite so far!
The dam is a beautiful site with a clean toilet
We had a very enjoyable 2 days tent camping at the Dam. It such a lovely view overlooking the dam at sunset, with nice fire going.

Dam was beautiful and privacy was great.
We had the dam site all to ourselves. Lovely and quiet. The dam was nice and clean and great to cool off when it got hot. Was big enough to paddle board in as well. Fire pit was clean and tidy and purchased wood was there waiting when we arrived. Doris and Pete were great hosts and we will definitely be back
Doris is amazing and really friendly. We loved swimming in the dam and the pups loved their first camping experience.
Beautiful, peaceful spot to camp by the dam. It was great having the whole place to ourselves. Doris the host was lovely, friendly and helpful.
We went for a walk to check out the other campsites - some nice looking spots there too. Loved the names as well, they made us laugh (Dobuggerall etc).
