Great camp site, would definitely recommend. The added extras to wash down a boat and prep fish was amazing.

Our family camped for 4 nights and we all had such a lovely stay. Ian and Tracey were so friendly and helpful, we will be back for sure! There were beautiful baby ducklings following their Mummas all over the thriving dam, friendly horses to pat and have a chat to, an awesome cold bush shower, bush toilet and a good amount of split firewood for $10. We took a hike up the back mountain which had lovely views toward the east and the pontoon at the boat ramp about 15 minutes from camp was awesome to have a little fish with the kids at the river. Beautiful grassy campsites, some with big shady trees. The sunsets around provided camp-fires was the perfect end to a relaxing day there watching hundreds of dragonflies and frogs beginning their evening chatter.

We never actually met the hosts - we never had anything to do with them at all which isn’t a bad thing. The pit loo was clean - didn’t smell. Outdoor shower looked fun - was a bit chilly so we didn’t use it but in warmer months I’d give it a go. We stayed 2 nights to explore Rocky and Capricorn coast areas. It was nice and quiet, great star gazing but the sites are really quite small and if it got any busier you’d be jammed in like sardines. It’s literally just a small paddock with a small dam and a bunch of sites squished around the dam. If you wanted somewhere quiet to spend a couple of nights or stop over somewhere then sure, give it a go. It’s a little out of the way and we did a lot of driving around to see the sites so for us, the location wasn’t ideal.

This was a beautiful campsite so quiet and serene, only had 1 other camper while we were here and there was a fair distance between, the owners are such lovely people, would definitely come back here, the only down fall was the drop dunny, it’s a little bit too high ( I’m 5’2) so I had to take a stool with me but wasn’t a drama.

Ian and Tracey were very welcoming. The dam was beautiful and sites were flat and large enough. Fire pits dotted throughout. Was a great stay.
