Absolute gem
Beautiful property with camping sites surrounding a pond. Minimal mosquitos when we stayed, there were many other flying insects attracted to our lights but they didn't bother us. The sites are in pristine condition and well looked after. I loved the rustic outdoor shower (tin shed with no roof) The composting toilet is well maintained with no bad smells. The sitting hight of the toilet is relatively high so small kids may struggle. Lots of beautiful nature sounds overnight and we saw a very friendly horse and ducks. Would have loved to stay here a bit longer if time allowed.

Very nice little spot! Had the whole place to myself all weekend and felt very safe as a single camper! A storm was about to roll through during the night and the lovely owners made sure I was secure! Toilet and shower are a great bonus!

Wonderful time!
Ian and Tracey were both wonderfully helpful and friendly when we rocked up about five hours late for our check in time. We really felt the hospitality when we were all exhausted and dirty, and Ian was kind enough to personally escort us through the dark to our campsite. This camping spot was like a breath of fresh air after a long day, the stars are stunning and the outdoor shower was a treat. In the morning, we were surprised by a very pretty horse coming to visit us, it was a great view for a camp breakfast. I would advise people to take note of how windy it can be, due to the flat land. We weighed our large tent down with some bricks we had, and that seems to help. Just hold onto your clothes when you have a wash. We would definitely come to this site again if we’re ever in the area. Thank you so much, Ian and Tracey!
