The campsite areas are alongside the bamboo overlooking the hay meadows. There is beautiful scenery all around with stunning views of Mount Ninderry.
The Maroochy river is 5 minutes away by car, including unique First Australian kayaking tours. It's only a few minutes more drive to go bushwalking and hiking to the top of Mount Ninderry, or 15 minutes from the highest climbable rock in the world, Mount Coolum.
The beach town of Coolum Beach and the country town of Yandina are both very cool destinations, with weekly markets, locally-famous coffee, cafes and restaurants including the award-winning Spirit House, greengrocers, bakeries and even Australia's best patisserie, Le Bon Delice, in nearby Peregian Beach. Of course, there is a Coles, Woolworths, IGA and specialty stores in both towns. Bamboo Park is just 25 minutes from beautiful Noosa.
Our property is a 43 acre farm practising organic, biodynamic, permaculture and syntropic horticulture. We have three little pigs, peacocks, guineafowl, chickens, and the friendly farm pups.
Well mannered dogs are welcome and we have connections with the outstanding Unleashed Dog Behaviour specialists if you want to unleash your pup's potential while here on the Sunshine Coast.
Currently only accepting self-contained campers, who have their own toilet and take all waste with them. Campfires permitted, outside of fire season obviously, and firewood packs can be purchased.
Note: during any extremely wet weather, camping and caravanning is still possible on parts of the property.

When we arrived we were greeted by Angela and given a warm welcome. We were shown where we were to camp and we set up. The next day Angela left us a jar of their Bamboo Park honey, which was a lovely gesture, as I love honey. When she checked on us later and we told her about the issues we were having with the mozzies (not anybody’s fault, there had been a lot of rain) she returned with a basket of mozzie sprays and repellent to help us out.
I didn’t see any of the organic fruit/veggies that are mentioned in the HipCamp write up for campers use and the park is pretty overgrown, but I think with some organisation this could be a great stay for a couple of nights for those travelling through, but currently I think $40/night is a little steep.
