Beautiful spot to take the family. Peaceful and quiet with only sounds of the creek and wildlife. Portable toilets are clean. Robert is an awesome host and cows and horses are friendly.

Set up with a fireplace and a comfy log merely 15m from a beautiful running creek.

I think there were maybe 7 total sites on the property and all were a comfortably private.

Loved the birds, trees and clear cold fresh stream. Deep enough for the brave to take a dip.

Fires, stars, water and birds perfect camping experience.

We found the directions to this spot a little hard to follow. A few more signs I think would go a long way. The stoney camp sign suggest to fork to the left then appears to just rejoin the same path as before. After veering left as per the sign make sure you continue straight down the slope to the right, do not reconnect and turn left again. If you’re heading back into the fields you’ve missed your turn.

Stoney camp was secluded from all other campsites situated near the running Canungra creek. Rob the host was awesome. He came around to check on to see if we needed anything like firewood or information on local attractions. We will definitely be staying again. The kids loved playing along the creek and trying to spot the elusive platypus. Thanks Rob.
