Tent camping
Was a fun night. Host was great. Does feel like you are on a property rather then bush, but still worth it to get away and have a excuse to pitch a tent. Will definitely be back. The price is very cheap also. Would recommend

Best of both worlds
I stayed the night at Sam's with my four legged friend and loved it. It was a quaint site with rustic charm and a communal area that was a taste of the outback. All close to the highway providing easy access to other areas/activities or just passing through on your next road trip. There was a little highway noise but it was more like a comforting white noise, especially for a first time solo camper. There was a little something for everyone but we enjoyed the walking trails and the cute little dam where my boy had a swim. The property was easy to find and access. The Site was roomy but close to access the flushing toilets (that were more like outhouse luxury), charming communal fire and camp kitchen/bar area... which I'm eager to enjoy more on my next visit. Sam was warm welcoming. There if you needed anything but gave you space/privacy. Overall it was a great spot for family, friends or solo travel.

Cheriton Bush Camp
What a special place so close to Brisbane City. We had the place to ourselves for night 1 of our stay, but even with others there is plenty of space for camps to spread out. The amenities are spotless, campsites mowed and maintained amd cooking facilities if you need them. Samantha is fantastic, very warm and welcoming and a pooch lover. We will definitely be back for weekend getaways.
