Loved the location, beautiful views, there is also a hike to a lookout from the campsite. Mark and his son went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay.. will definitely be back

We loved our weekend stay at platypus camp. The best Hipcamp we’ve stayed at so far. The camping ground was so large, flat and peaceful. Lots of shade available from fruit trees. Mark the host, was awesome and helpful. Didn’t spot the platypus, will be back to see next time!

This was such a great spot to camp, having the whole place to ourselves was perfect! Didn’t manage to get to see the platypus but that just means we will have to go back for another camp!
One of the best camping experiences we have ever had! We saw platypus, 4 different species of kingfishers and an abundance of other wildlife across this incredible property. Couldn’t recommend more!
We had the best time out on Mark’s property. It is so s beautiful & peaceful, so much wildlife and nature it’s the perfect escape from town. Mark is super lovely and helpful with advice about surrounding areas and hiking trails. Thank you so so much!
What a gem, we spent two nights camped here and absolutely loved it and will definitely stay with Mark again.
