Peaceful Riverside Camping

Awesome host, very friendly and a beautiful place to stay

Awesome quiet space with plenty of room. Caught 9 🦀 mudcrabs. Close to Howard town. Lovely friendly owner. We had pretty ordinary weather so would like to return when the sun 🌞 is shining

I want to say it was terrible so others don’t go but this place is beautiful and a really nice laid out area for camping.
We felt private and relaxed the whole time, the rain stopped us from seeing much of the place and we camped on an ants nest so we had some travellers home but all in all we will be back for sunnier days and more time spent.

Great spot very peaceful will definitely be back in hopefully better weather conditions

It’s is just what it’s call. Peaceful river side camping. Peaceful place to kick back. And awesome hosts.

The location was very nice but in reality there are only about 5 sites that are waterfront.

Camping next to the Burrum River was so peaceful. Plenty of space and areas to choose either on the river bank or up on grassed areas. It was so relaxing, you can fish or throw in a crab pot ( we did and caught a couple of crabs) . Go for a walk and explore or sit and relax and enjoy the bird life. The hosts are so welcoming. This was are second time and we will be back . Yes there were midges but just be prepared. Great spot for a canoe etc as well. Highly recommend staying.

Great little spot! Limited river side camping, but another flat spot just up the hill with plenty of space, and a short walk to the jetty. Definitely need the bug spray. Midgies seem to be the worst at night. Swimming, kayaking, fishing or paddle boarding, this spot is perfect!
