Great fishing (Barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained!) plus kayaking, bush-walking and more. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! #All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking.#
Less than 5km down the road to Wallaville is a great local pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, We are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg,
Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them.
Access to the property is possible for all types of vehicles, but what you're driving/pulling will determine the sites you can go on. We have an Automatic Gate Do not stop in gate way, !!
Be prepaid to drive through and clear please 🥂 Then come down to the Shed and caravan to be shown your campsite 👏👏
Going out the gate open toward U, after pressing the little black button to open the gate. Back Clear of the opening gates thanks..🥂

I loved that the site we had a sit was secluded and sheltered. We found our hosts to be friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again in the future.
What a beautiful spot and both Jennifer and Harold are lovely people.
We totally loved our stay very peaceful and right along side the river bank listening to the wild life and fishing while relaxing. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended staying.

So glad U & family enjoyed your spot & stay stay safe till UR return🥳🥂
Excellent open spaces not too close to anyone. River was easily accessible, cows, horses and heaps of bird life around. Grassed camp site. Loved it all!
Large, well spaced out campsites with enough space between them that we forgot that other people were there! The campsites on the river are well grassed with beautiful green grass, (most of which may require levelling out your van or camper) and have river access at your site, however they do need moderate clearance to access. We stayed up top in our old 15 foot, standard height 76’Millard ( but think we could get it down to D1/D3 camp sites right on the river as the access is I bit more forgiving) which was a bit dusty due to the windy weather over Anzac weekend. We drove our kayaks down to the river as the bank is quite steep to walk them. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and do not harass you. The property has huge river frontage with an abundance of wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and kayaking. We saw 2 lung fish and a turtle on our adventures up the river and creek. We will be back with a group of friends next time🤗

We loved the peace and quiet by the river. Very friendly hosts. We will return for sure.

Thanks for staying, so glad U enjoyed our peace of Paradise return soon 🖖🥂
Harold & Jennifer at Paradise Lost on the Burnett are super friendly and the site we parked our camper trailer on was secluded from all other campers, it was like we were the only ones there.
The view of the Burnett River was wonderful and the cattle super friendly on my morning walk ;)
Would definitely recommend and go back again

Thanks for staying on our peace of Paradise our cow do like to check our us humans 😉🥳
What a fantastic piece of paradise. Very friendly owners who have opened their working cattle property up for all of us to enjoy. Mostly large, private, open and well spread out from other camp sites all with fire pits. We were able to laugh and fluff about at night without disturbing other camps. The camp sites on the river require clearance to access, but well worth it as they are green grass and have access to the river from the camp site. We stayed up the top which was a bit dusty due to the high winds that weekend and drove the kayak’s down to the water. An abundance of wildlife and pristine fresh water creeks. We saw lung fish and turtles on our kayaking trips.

This really is paradise! Totally serene. The camp site was private with other campsites at least 100m away. Right on the river, easy to launch kayaks. We had the river totally to ourselves too. Saw lung fish, hawks, water dragons and much more. We loved every second and will definitely be back.
