A Great place to have your own private and secluded campsite, away from the holiday crowds.160 acres of working goat and alpaca farm on the highlands of the Darling Downs, only 8 km from the New England Highway.Great views, great sunsets, and starry night skies. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife including Red Necked Wallabies, Possums, Rufus Batongs, Bandicoots and Echidnas. There are seasonal creeks and waterfalls and wildflowers. Campers may occasionally be visited by a herd of friendly goats that like soft drink and chips. We often have baby goats and alpacas that are being hand reared which are popular with kids and adults alike.

The nearby Farmers Arms Hotel is a popular spot for lunch and dinner and the nearby Crows Nest Township is great for coffee shops and a bit of local history.  Visit the Grand Old Crow pub for a delicious lunch or dinner.

Absolutely wonderful clean place to stay. We shared the peace and quiet with Wallabies and an Echidna, and so many different birds to watch.

The views are magic, you don't see anyone else at all so you have lots of privacy.

We arrived and followed the instructions to our site. The owner, who was lovely, soon was following us up the track, to greet us and give us some pointers re putting fires out properly etc. Our site was a hilltop with lovely views. Sadly the alpacas didn't wander as far as our camp 😂 the site was mostly level with mown grass that was not spikey. A small firepit was supplied, with wood being BYO.

A great spot for for adults to chill out and relax, or for a family to use as a base camp to explore the area.

Great overnight camp, super quiet (no-one else there - and it was a long weekend!). Richard came down and said g'day, pleasant stay.

Amazing stars and beautiful sunset! The host was kind and helpful and showed us to the site because we arrived after dark. Super peaceful and nice and private. There’s not a lot of shade (which is perfect for stargazing!) so I would recommend you have an awning/shelter. Thanks for having us Richard!
