There are 2 boat ramps about 7 or 8 klms from the property.
Arrive after 10am if possible so you can set up your camp. Don't forget to bring your insect repellent as you are in the bush and beside the river.
We now have a Jetty and Pontoon you can fish from with a set of Stairs leading straight down to the Jetty and Pontoon. We have also just built a shelter shed/camp kitchen and shower room both now have 1000 litre water pods that have water when it rains. Neither shower or kitchen have water plumbed in.
No rubbish bins at the camp so bring everything you need & remove everything you bring.

Beautiful quiet camping spot right on the Mary river. Not to far away but far enough it feels very peaceful. Really cool river access stairs and small kayack launch built on the river bank.

Nice basic property for camping. Sites in amongst the trees. Nice view of the river. Has a steep bank up to the land but we fished straight off the end with no issues.
Has a drop toilet too which most people were using.
Was great to have the freedom to set up a camp fire at the site.
Certainly doesn't feel like its 5 minutes out of town. We never heard any traffic.
Would go again

What an amazing weekend we just had here! The children were able to Kayak in the small pond and ride the bikes. For an Easter weekend it was quiet so felt very calm!
Would recommend being self sufficient with showers and toilets but other than that was definitely a great bush experience!

Great spot, right on the river bank.
Hardly anyone there so lots of privacy.
Little jetty over river was great for fishing but a bit scary getting down the steps to it plus stepping on to it was a bit nerve racking.
Only disappointing fact was the toilet, after over 3 years of caravanning around this great country and using some very ordinary facilities this one would have to be by far the worst and least hygienic ever.
Web site said $10 per night we (2 of us) were charged $70 for 3 nights so not sure how that worked?
After all that we would happily stay again.
Fantastic bush camp by the Mary river. Toilets clean and well maintained...TP stocked! Fireplaces aplenty, and a great sunrise.
Basic facilities but that's what camping is all about. Wonderful location right beside the Mary River with beautiful river views. A small campsite so quite peaceful most of the time
