Beautiful quiet spot. Van parked next to Lake, very peaceful. Super close to IGA and bakery for coffee.
Location is great, quiet and great price. We stayed at the powered site - easily accessible with maintained lawns. Dog friendly and ours love it there with dam so close, they run happily and swim all day.
Was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem of a camp site just a short drive up the highway from Brisbane.
No facilities so take your own toilet and drinking water.
Very large sites. Close to the lake. Great you can come in later in the evening. You are tucked up in the corner so you have to make sure the site beside you don’t block your path out. Other than that it is great to stay. 1a powered site looks to be a better site to have tho if it was the choice out of the 2 powered sites.
Fantastic for taking our dogs here, they are outdoor dogs so we can tuck them away from the view of others keeping them quite at night.

Beautiful, relaxing area. We were originally worried about midgies or mosquitos due to the amount of water but with the fish and the frogs, we rarely saw any to bite us.
Our 2 dogs loved it as well - hot weather not a problem when they can take a dip!
Highly recommend this camping spot. Lovely and close to the beaches at Beachmere OR even a short trip to Bribie Island.

Loved the campsite, so private and felt like we were in paradise. Loved the view of the lakeside and the fact we had space to breathe. It was such a gem of a place to find and we will definitely be back.

but to give a review I would definitely rate our three stays
as very relaxing, overlooking the lake and watching the bird life is just lovely. Most of the sites are non powered so if getting back to being self sufficient is your thing than this place will be suitable. The hosts are very responsive when needed and we look forward to coming again soon. Cath & Adam
