Woowoonga National Park and Wongi National Park are located close by, which are home to various wildlife including little red flying foxes, yellow-bellied gliders, sugar gliders, bandicoots, pademelons and wallabies. Wongi is also well known for its wetlands and waterholes.

A great spot for a quiet weekend. A water hole that was great for a paddle in the kayak, a fire at night and heaps of stars. Nice flat grassed area and friendly host. Our second visit and won't be our last.
The peace and quiet of Lakeside Camp is amazing. Our second visit and yes we will be back.

A little unkept but great potential
We really enjoyed our stay and we’re the only campers. The lake is beautiful and very picturesque. Unfortunately the camp ground was not well kept and entrance into the water was rather difficult. With a little more effort it could be a great little campground. In the hosts defence he did explain he had been busy on the farm and was affected by recent floods. Love the cows.
Great spot, bit of road noise but this died down at night.
