Kobble Creek Family Camp Out

Whether you’re after a base from which to explore the local area, a farm stay where you join in with our family activities, or a place to hide away from the outside world for a while, we invite you to come enjoy our 40 acres of lifestyle farmland with amazing views.

FLOOD UPDATE: whilst some of our tracks are a little water-worn, Kobble Creek West has been flushed clean and is now readily accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting you.

Explore the bike trails, or check out the hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek (flowing at this time) which borders the property, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk.

Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars.

Each site has access to a specifically sited compost toilet bucket. Note this is not a flushing toilet. Shower amenities and flushing toilet can be accessed in the farm-house granny-flat by special arrangement.

PLEASE NOTE: These sites are all recommended as 4WD (especially at the moment, with all this rain there are some ruts and loose surfaces to negotiate) and off-road camper access only. Each site varies as to suitability for tents v campers (size and configuration all needing to be considered). We will try to ensure best suitability at time of booking, SO IT IS NECESSARY either before or at the time of a Booking Request to confirm your vehicle and camping setup: 4WD - Y/N Trailer - side or end fold out Swags/Tents - number and size

We can assist with 4WD access if you wish to leave your vehicle at reception. This service needs to be pre-booked as an extra. (please message us if unsure).

Pets on leashes welcome.

NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted.

Whilst we have 14 sites listed, this is indicative of different siting options and we would rarely choose to fully book. We consider vehicle and party composition in site allocation, with most sites dispersed, Larger groups can be accommodated upon request.

We offer a free bag of firewood and two-for-one balcony breakfasts for all Ex-serving and current Defence members, emergency services and first responders, emergency department and COVID carers. Just book these options in the extras at checkout.

We are located 50 minutes from Brisbane's CBD and just 10 minutes from historic Dayboro township. Ferny Grove and Petrie train stations are only 25 minutes away (pick up and drop off can be arranged)..
