Nestled in the peace and quiet of the hinterland yet conveniently located close to everything you want to see and experience, Kalea is the perfect private getaway, with 2 acres all to yourself.
Park up at the top of the hill and go exploring down the romantic rolling hill where you'll find yourself beside a large outdoor firepit with a stunning freshwater creek running beside you surrounded by a lush wall of rainforest trees.
Go for a quick dip to cool down on those hot summer days and explore the land, with its banana trees, citrus orchard, native raspberry bushes, Mango trees, birdlife, and beautiful 150+-year-old fig tree.
Just a 3 min drive and you'll be in the heart of Eumundi where you can explore the famous Eumundi markets with their handmade goods, and fresh local produce. Eumundi is also home to the historic Imperial Hotel, now also a distillery making local brews and botanical gins. The town has a selection of fabulous cafes, a gelato shop, book store, playground, crystal shop, a leather maker and so much more to explore! With just a 15 minute drive to the famous Noosa surf reserve and Hastings Street, you couldn't ask for a better place to set up camp on the Sunshine Coast.
At sunset, I highly recommend walking a few minutes up the road to the Eumundi lookout where you can watch the sun go down over the beautiful Rowling hills whilst having a picnic.

Camp site was not well maintained. Grass was chest height and was deceiving from the road. No clear path to the bottom made it difficult to navigate without slipping.
Steep climb down to the flat ground which was plenty enough for my single tent set up. Shallow creek enough to wade in.
Could have done with a mow, but other wise quite fine.

Didn’t get a chance to stay, but the host communicated well and was very accommodating in terms of a refund.

The creek was absolutely beautiful but unfortunately the property hadn’t been mowed. We saw a snake down at the creek and a few holes in the long grass which didn’t make us to confident to take our dog down there. If the grass was mowed, atleast we could see where we were stepping.
The concrete slab has quite a lean to it so if you’re in a camper keep that in mind.
Not an ideal camping spot, the site was mostly on a slope which made it uncomfortable
