Lovely, secluded area next to the creek with several campsite options - the whole area is yours. We have recently put in vehicular access.

Children 5yo and under are free, so don't include them in your numbers for the booking but message me through this system to let me know you're bringing them.

FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: This is rough, rugged country which makes access in a city wheelchair or walker difficult, but if you have a sense of adventure we'd love to work with you to create the holiday of your dreams.

We have a whole beautiful valley with a crystal clear spring-fed creek, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.

4WD recommended.

This is a dog and horse friendly property, but there is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating them before you come and frequent checks while you're here.

No mobile phone coverage at the campsites or our house (so if we're home I won't to answer calls to our mobile phone - please use our landline instead), but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get signal for emergencies.

Self sufficient camping at its best.

Our own piece of bushland with a crystal clear spring creek to explore.
The kids were in their element as was our kelpie.

Very private campsite in an amazing location.

We loved camping at Hideaway Flats! Anita’s property is perfect if you’re looking to get away from it all. It’s both beautiful and rugged and you’ll need a 4x4 to get the most out of it.
Hideaway flats is a large site suitable for small groups and you can bring your dog which is great. There’s a nice running creek by the site and you might be lucky to get a visit from the local cows.
For a decent short (3.7km return) hike up the ridge track for great views and the added bonus of phone reception.
All in all it’s a great spot to relax and chill out. A bit of a drive to get there but well worth it if you have the time.

What a beautiful price of Australian bushland. We had an awesome overnight camp with the dog , so quiet and secluded.

Some amazing 4wd tracks on offer we plan to return for a weekend and explore this amazing place in more detail.

Host Anita was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with in all our correspondence.

Will come back !!
