High recommend this spot!!. I was a solo traveller in a camper van and parked in the gorgeous location just before some extremely heavy rain hit. The hosts Dawn and Dave were incredibly kind and totally saved me from getting bogged. They let me stay under the shed for the night, and even shared a few beers with me! It was lovely getting to know them. What a lovely family! The site is stunning, although unfortunately the rain kept me from experiencing it fully. The fire place looked epic! If it is wet, make sure you have deet!
A real nice find along the road, tucked away on lush grass among the trees in cassowary country. We were just passing through, so only stayed one night, but loved the spot.
We had a great Easter weekend here, with beautiful green lawn even the rain didn't spoil our time, no mud to traipse into the caravan. Location is really good, close to Cardwell so we were able to enjoy the Easter markets along the foreshore and lunch in town. Dawn and Dave were so hospitable, checking we were okay once we had set up and sharing some must see places in the area. We will be back!

We had a great time exploring the area. With the rock pools just around the corner this was a great location. The camp area was tidy with a big fire pit, green grass and plenty of shade. The hosts were very helpful and polite. I highly recommend.
Dave and Dawn were lovely hosts and very helpful when our car broke down. Only too willing to help. The setting is beautiful with outlook onto the rainforest covered mountains. Wallabies visited us at dusk.
Great communal fire pit and only 2 groups can book the facility.
The only down side was been bitten a lot by midges and March flies but not too may mozzies.
