Stunning view and friendly animals
Hessy was a beautiful, affordable experience for my sister and I. The caravan was very spacious and had a lot of storage options for our food. Thank you Karen for the fan (it was very nice at night when we closed the windows to stop the bugs) and beautiful view of all the farm animals. I would 100% go back, the view was AMAZING and we got to know all the farm animals... the goat even hopped in the boot!!! Got a lovely sleep as the beds are super comfy and were two single beds perfect for me and my sister.
Lovely spot with beautiful views to the mountains and curious animals.
We made friends with goats, horses & alpaca’s 🙂
We gratefully received a fan that was delivered to us as the temp was in the low 30’s.
We did a rail trail (Brooloo to Imbil) walk (9km return) which was lovely and at Imbil there were Sunday markets and a yummy bakery!
A nice stay for a long weekend.
Ps. Sorry we were late checking out… stopping at the markets slowed us down. ☺️
Such a cute little caravan with everything you need to really get away. Loved sitting on the deck watching the alpacas (and the baby one!). We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying.
Loved it! Such a cute retro style caravan, feels like your living life in the 70s. we didnt even need to bring any of our linen or cutlery even portable gas stove cause karen supplies it all. Bathrooms are super clean and modern style. We enjoyed a nice campfire and a bbq. Great view overlooking the valley, and animals. Would definitely be coming back again 😊
Stayed at Hessy for two nights over a weekend.
Karen was a great host and very welcoming giving us some apples to feed the roaming farm animals on site, who are all well natured.
The space is very private with stunning views. Hessy had everything we needed, cookplate, toaster, kettle, linen ect. and definitely has some 70's charm. Having the modern shower block is a treat.
Thanks Karen, see you again soon!
What a lovely spot, secluded , private , and with fantastic views of the alpacas roaming around with lush hills in the distance, and when night falls and the fire is going the stars come out to play , grab a beer or bottle of wine and enjoy the retro feel of “Hessy “ the cute caravan transported from the 80’s , also a piping hot shower and other amenities to boot , 30 odd mins to Noosa and other hot spots such as Kenilworth and Maleny , great way to explore the Sunshine Coast then retreat after a day exploring to Hessy . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay , and shall return 😬
Lovely little retro caravan
Little retro caravan but with a great seperate bathroom with tons of hot water. Karen has gone out of her way to make Hessy functional, with charcoal barbecue, fire pit, electric heater etc. Beds are a bit small but OK for a couple of nights. Beautiful outlook over the alpacas and lovely and peaceful.
Our stay was cut short but was wonderful and I can't wait to go back. The caravan was spotless and is very thoughtfully kitted out. Hessy has a unique retro vibe of her own and with a warm shower right outside, she has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. Situated against a small hill, there are views over grassy paddocks to the tree-lined hills beyond. We watched the sun go down and the stars come out. Thankyou very much Karen M.
Quite, peaceful, quirky stay.
Absolutely loved "Hessy" for the older readers of this review, staying here will remind you of your holidays as a youth.
Very quirky glamping indeed. The ensuite is fantastic and new with the best shower. No real need to bring any utensils with you, because Karen's supplied most things that you will need, including washing up liquid, tea towels. for that short break away. Towels and shower products are also supplied.
Great location for day trips out in and around the Mary Valley or Eumundi and Noosa. We live relatively local and chose the option to just sit and read and relax. Its a extremely quite location and the night sky is something to behold. whilst sitting along side the firepit.
Just what we where looking for, we would give this a 9 out of 10, because heh, nothings perfect is it : )
We will most defiantly return, Thankyou Karen.
Ps, The animals were a added bonus.
