We're halfway between Gympie and the Coast, Inskip Point, Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay, with grassy, level campsites looking over our beautiful billabong. There is a shop attached to the premises where LPG etc can be acquired, plus caravan and boat parts available as well as a workshop.  Come and say g'day!We are located halfway between Gympie and Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach and The Great Sandy Straits. Affordable, grassed and level campsites scattered around our beautiful billabong, with shaded areas for relaxing and sunny spots for solar. We enjoy cool breezes here, cooler than Gympie in summer and warmer in winter. Fireplaces are provided. There is a shop on site that can provide LPG , Firewood etc. As well as fishing, boating and caravan parts and repairs. We have toilets available during shop hours only. Outside of shop hours you'll need to be fully self-contained and rely on your own loo.  Down the road are macadamia farms, strawberry farms and cafes. You can safely leave your caravan here, while exploring the region, with easy access to the coast and Gympie. We look forward to welcoming you! Pets welcome too! The camp ground is part of The Boat Place .The Tin Can Bay end of the property . So you use the Entrance straight in front of you. You'll be able to see the camping area./p>

This is a great spot to camp! George, Steve and Gail were very helpful and fun. George is doing upgrades and we want to return in a while to see how they all go. Thanks Guys.

El mejor cielo
Fue, es y será uno de los mejores campamentos en los que e estado. El señor George rge es muy amable. A mí novia le encantó como Se ve el campamento en la noche cuando uno llega. Tiene unas lucecitas bien bonitas que muestras parte del camino de entrada. Si llegas y no estás seguro en dónde ubicarte, solo sigue el camino de entrada y pasando un pequeño puente de un pequeño lago. Está el señor George, que encantado por tu visita te ubicará. En la noche se alcanza a ver el mejor cielo estrellado. It was, is and will be one of the best camps I have ever been to. Mr. George Rge is very nice. My girlfriend loved the way the camp looks at night when you arrive. It has nice little lights that show part of the driveway. If you arrive and you're not sure where to go, just follow the driveway past a small bridge over a small lake. There is Mr. George, who will be happy to help you find your way. At night you can see the best starry sky.

Very cool spot to camp up for a night - very affordable and hosts were very friendly and accommodating - will definitely be back next time I'm travelling through the area

Very spacious camp sites, peaceful and quiet. Water and Toilets are available. You might even see their resident Koala.

Perfect kgari stopover
We stopped here for a night after a long drive so we could get up early to get over to Kgari the next morning. Perfect distance from Rainbow Beach barge if you want to get be first on in the morning, clean sites and friendly hosts. Would definitely stay again
