Massive space with heaps of room to spread out between. Fun activities for everyone. Great bush camp. Not far from everything.
Bring thermals in winter, jackets for dogs.

We loved camping at Fordsdale Farmstay! The views were incredible and the hosts are absolutely lovely! We will definitely be back again and again with the kids and dog :)

An absolutely gorgeous property with stunning creek, thanks to the recent rain. 4WD recommended due to some steep climbs. Drop toilets were clean and well maintained. Sue was a fantastic host! We will definitely be back!
Serenity. Views to die for. Perfectly positioned campsite for peace and tranquillity. Dog friendly. Horseriding a wonderful bonus. We took a 1300kg camper trailer towed by a Prado. No problem. Some low range required. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location in a valley with hills all around. You can walk up a track for some nice views and there's even some sandstone boulders to play around on for the climbers out there. The description matched the campsite well, and Sue provided good information and directions before the trip. Main thing to consider before coming is that there are horses and goats roaming free around the land and they like to come up and say hi (and check whether you've got any food!). Thanks for having us Sue.
We stayed here for 3 nights. It was a truly beautiful spot! The horses and goats came right up to our camp site and the kids loved feeding them extra bread or fruit every day. The gentleman that ran the place was so friendly and checked on us daily going above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

Was a lovely place to camp for the weekend, beautiful views-clean air-friendly horses. Boss lady wasn’t so friendly but overall stay was enjoyable. Definitely recommend! Good Australian culture 👍
Beautiful scenery and everything!
Our very first self contained camping trip and it was an amazing experience! Loved how the campsite is so relaxing with beautiful scenery up at the top near the main area with all the animals. Waking up to the horses & goats hanging out by our campsite, you get to pet them and feed them. They’re all such friendly animals. So cool how they are all free to roam around too! One of the best experience we had over the long weekend and the kids enjoyed every bit of it. Camp fire at night overlooking the stars. Drop toilets around the main sites. Horse riding available. Clear water creek at the bottom. 4WD access but was impressed by the host’s little Toyota echo that could get up those rocky & steep driveway haha. Would 100% recommend this beautiful private campsite if you’re really into nature and bush camping! We will definitely come back here again. We didn’t want to go home! Weather is always so beautiful too! Don’t forget to BYO shower, kitchen stuff, drinking water as it’s not available at the campsite, your own toilet if you don’t like drop toilets, food to last you for a couple of days. Closest supermarket is at Gatton which is about 30mins drive from the campsite.
Thanks so much for having us and the kids! See you again soon :)
