Matt met us right after nice big storm! Welcoming and lovely. The farm is easy to find and get to. Great big cleared space for caravans. Access to the creek was easy and close. Kayaking down the creek is gorgeous and our three dogs loved the creek and the area to run.

Great private area with easy road access and set up beside Running Creek. Quiet and private with access to the creek. Met on site by host who checked we were ok and set up. Great for controlled running of dogs (away from Road) on large mown grass area, flat for van/RV. Great for a small group to camp and socialise. Plenty of unshaded area sun for solar panels.

Red wine onlyThis campsite is only for red wine drinkersSpace for good doggies. Note stock in background....Fire place

We had a lovely relaxing stay. Sarah was a fantastic host, very quick to reply to my late request, helpful and with great communication.
Our stay was easy to get to and set up, a meet and great with Marie first, who was also very friendly and helpful. Marie brought a fire pit and wood to our camp position which was close by to a very pretty creek access. The site we were on is in a level paddock with great views and plenty of room to spread out. The night sky was vast and we we lucky enough to see the full moon rise over the mountains while enjoying our drinks by the fire pit.
Our well behaved dog enjoyed her swim and chasing the ball in the paddock when not on her tether rope.
There is a train line on the other side of the creek but the trains are not loud and we only saw a couple of them. The road is not to far from the camp and you can see and hear the vehicles but in saying that it was busier than usual due to a long weekend.
We enjoyed watching lots of birds including, blue wrens, red backed wrens, cheeky wagtails, magpies, galahs, an owl, kites and eagles to name a few.
We are looking forward to our next visit :)

Good Site, heaps of room for groups, Creek was down embankment near the site (so no camping right next to it) Matt (the host Sarahs husband) was great and met us on arrival and gave us a good bit of info about the place and area, he also brought wood when we needed it for the provided fire. You can see/hear cars on the nearby road (about 200m away) as well as the inland rail freight train passing occasionally in another direction around 350m away. All up pleasant camping and mostly quiet with Rathdowney not far away for supplies and weekend markets etc.
