We had an awesome time at Chookhouse Farmstay. The hosts Rob and Jennie were fabulous! The amenities block was very clean. Will recommend to all our friends to book through Hipcamp and discover this little country gem!

A short but very pleasant stay. Rob and Jennie do make all guest feel very welcome. A pet friendly farm stay that offers decent basic necessities , clean toilets and hot showers. Travellers must make sure to bring drinking water and enough food for their stay, as no shops within close proximity. Highly recommended for families with small children who can enjoy close and near encounter with animals and birds at feeding times. Thank you Rob and Jennie for making our stay a memorable one . Debbie Mike and Rio the 4 legged friend.

Lovely relaxing place, very welcoming hosts and lots of different beautiful animals. Host welcomed our elderly well behaved dog. We could've easily stayed longer! Thanks for a lovely time and we look forward to visiting again!

Our stay at chookhouse farmstay was great fun. we rode our bikes out from toowoomba one friday afternoon. we pitched our fly under the pepper trees and watched the sun set as we lit our fire and cooked dinner. the farm was quirky and charming, the bathroom facilities were more than adequate, our host was delightful and the birds were a hoot.

Our 6 day stay was peaceful, calming and quiet and despite the rain the children had a great time. Very close to Woolworths if you forget anything. Close to all that Toowoomba has to offer. Jen and Rob were very friendly.

Not quite what we were expecting

Not quite what we were expecting. Camp site was in the middle of permanent residents, ammenities (they shared the ammenities also) the chook sheds and close to the road. Areas were fenced off with no real place to walk dogs or kids to ride bikes - despite it being a large property. Busy road and Train line across the road meant there wasn’t much ‘serenity’. Hosts were nice and young kids enjoyed the animals.

Thanks for that Vince, sorry it wasn't what you expected.
