I have 6 sites at the moment each one is in a open bushland setting with lovely views, no site is within 100 meters of another and each one has a different view with lots of privacy. Kid friendly, shallow water,  and deep water for swimming or kayaking , creeks, animals to feed and heaps of room to run and play.  Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space

Kid friendly, shallow water,  and deep water for swimming or kayaking , creeks, animals to feed and heaps of room to run and play.  Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space great swimming and lots of things to here and  in the surrounding areas. Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO  road frontage so sites are private and quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway.

All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only

I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys.

Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is  full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing  Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds.

We are 20 min South of Warwick,  We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. Amazing place to stay at. Cathy is lovely too. It is very private, we didn't even know if there were other campers there. Loved the tomatoes.

Cathy was super friendly and the property was very nice. Dam would have been nice to swim in, the host even mowed a picnic patch right next to the water.

Had a great time at Cathy's, we were the only ones there, the wind was wild due to cyclone off shore but didnt stop us relaxing. Definitely stay again.

Right from the start Cathy was so obliging and answered our mssgs quickly. No question we asked was silly. She met us, took us to our site and explained all the ins and outs.
Our site was perfect....mowed and clean. Our view over the full dam was amazing. Firewood and fireplace available. Cathy came down a couple of times thru our 1 week stay to check if all OK. We bought meat from her and so yummy. Her mob of sheep kept us amused with the antics of the lambs. They walked daily thru our site to meander round the dam. Our friends had a kayak which we used on the dam.
Weather perfect if somewhat coolish late afternoon.
All in all a amazing relaxing time. Will recommend this camp and will visit again. Thank you Cathy....a great host.

This has been our first experience with Hipcamp and Cathy has made us feel very welcome and so we are keen to revisit her beautiful property. Our camping spot was recently mown and the firepit had plenty of firewood ready and waiting for us on our arrival. The large dam was full and perfect for our kayaks. Each day the sheep on the property passed by our camping spot providing some funny antics as they continued on there way. Cathy would check in on us for a quick chat and even provided us with more firewood when we ran out.
Would we recommend this place? Yes we would …. 100% we would! There is not one thing we would change about our stay. Thank you again Cathy 😊

Safe, private site, great views and good place to get away from the crowd and just enjoy watching the adventures of animals on the farm. 30mins to the Granite belt. We had excellent mobile phone and TV coverage.

First rate stay, well presented property and sites. Sites were large and grass was mowed, well separated from each other. Cathy was a very welcoming host who made sure everything was right for my stay. Lake views were stunning.

Carrington is a lovely place to stay. There are views in almost every direction, and the farm animals are great entertainment. Cathy is a great host and welcoming you on arrival. She makes sure you have everything you need. During the day, it’s so peaceful and quiet and by night you have amazing views of the stars while you sit by the fire. There’s a nice breeze that comes off the big dam and beautiful sunsets in the afternoon, while all the farm animals walk past and return home for the night. We will definitely be returning to Carrington.
