Hart Hill boasts a stunning 28 acres. Your initial view of the property coming over a Thanes Creek causeway is that of a magnificent rock face. However, 500m down the road, through the gate, and over the ridge, Hart Hill exposes a lovely undulating fold baring a huge panorama of flat alluvial ground that hugs Thanes Creek.

Sprinkled with gums, the camping area is based west of the property in a stunning shady lea cooled by the creek and an old windmill for a backdrop.

Great place for families, grey nomads and fossickers. Isolated, with the best outlook in the area with direct creek frontage and lush camping with good shade and space. Approximately 1600metres of creek frontage.

Fossickers can gain access to a creek that has been unhindered for decades. Great for kayaking and swimming. Check out our website for other activities and more information.

The properties history is colourful. In 1869 the area was a hub for gold diggers wanting to strike it lucky. Today Hart Hill has old wooden stumps that tell a story of an old mining hut, and if you dug in some of the rock heaps you might get a shock when you uncovered more than gold.

If anyone is wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle, Jane and Mark’s property is amazing.
Both host went over and beyond to make sure we had a great weekend away and we can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.
Plenty of shade, Thou Creek beds were a tad hard to get into but our kids made full use of the dam instead.
Their animals are super friendly.
Too it was great learning about history of the property/area and thanks to another camper we got shown how to fossick for gold.
Overall perfect place of creating memories with our family.

Another nice spot to spend a few days. Basic but clean facilities. Jane and Mark made us very welcome. Sadly, our fossicking was unsuccessful but great to be able to do it and have a bit of fun. Would be nice in winter with clear skies and camp fires to be warmed by.
