It has recieved numerous awards including the award for the Australian farm off the year for excellence in diversification with the solar farm, organic status and agritourism ventures!
Visitors say it's one of Longreach’s best kept secret RV and Camping accommodation - breathtaking sunsets quiet and secluded just off the Landsborough Highway right beside Longreach. Camden Park is a perfect safe and convenient haven to base yourself while visiting all that Western Queensland has to offer. Time to just sit back and relax watching the outback landscape change as it does through sunset to sunset.
The sites all have 15 amp powered outlets and under the cover of a large hay barn. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, but we will have amenities ready very soon!
At this stage we require guests to be self contained but amenities are becoming available as the site develops.
In line with council approvals ‘Guests of the Tourist Park are to be made aware that there are no waste or sewerage disposal facilities onsite. In order to use the Tourist Park, vehicles must be self-contained and must: • have sleeping facilities; • have toilet facilities; • be able to store and have provision for potable water; and • be able to store greywater and blackwater.
Campfires are welcome when there is no restrictions in place, please keep them contained and ensure they are completely out before leaving them unattended. Fires must be lit well away from the barn so as to not leave ashes in the line of future Cars and Caravans to have to drive over our around.
Tours of the station are not available at this stage, but hope to become available next year.

This is a spot on camping area! The sunsets and sunrises are superb!
Loved the wide open plains!
Most enjoyable - spacious Glamping !
We have just spent 4 nights at Camden Park station. It has a lot of potential for a great spot to stay. But at the moment we think it’s over priced for what you got . No toilets no showers no dump no rubbish bins no water. The only facility available is power. The space is great but very confusing on arrival.
We really enjoyed having some space - very quiet and great sunrises and sunsets. James and family very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Bathroom Facilities veeerry close to being available to use. Site numbering needs improvement to avoid confusion on arrival.
If you are after a Queensland station stay experience, this is not the place for you. Even though power is available the area is under developed, over crowded and lacks any presentation. Will benefit from some further preparation and is handy to Longreach.
Our stay at Camden Park was lovely , we were going to Longreach the next day, and liked that it was close to town and on a private property. It was easy to find and straight up the road for 2k. The massive barn let us put the car and caravan under cover, and with electricity. James was lovely, friendly and helpful. Lots of space and amazing sunsets. We will be back!!!😊

Some Camping sites were uneven due to previous rain and had not been leveled. Very disappointed we hipcamps as we had 3 vans checked in price quoted $32 but we all paid $38.34 ??
