Top Camp 1 is a large flat site next to the rainforest with easy access for any vehicle in any weather. It is shady in the afternoons due to the forest on the west side. The views of the mountains over the front paddock and towards the ocean (can't quite see the ocean though) are relaxation-inducing.
Fireplace and free firewood are available. The firewood is collected

Fireplace and free firewood are available. The firewood is collected from normal farm activity.
The long (and quiet) beach, a huge park and the cafe are 2km from the farm. There is fishing all along the beach with access to national park beach and river fishing. Three freshwater swimming holes are within a 15-25 minute drive. Croc and wildlife spotting is available 15 minutes away. Freshwater is available at the farm shed. Either message or visit the caretaker at the bus, at the shed to access water.
Please do not approach cassowaries and dogs must always be on leads.
Take all rubbish out with you. Do not use the farm bins. Thank you.

Overall we had a great stay for the second time with property looking great and well kept. How ever be careful with your furry friends as a pit bull / pigging dog from the looks nearly attacked myself and partner and our very small dog which was on a lead. The owner of the dog I’m guessing living at the back of the property then called the dog back.
Great spot at camp #1 the view was amazing, nice and quiet. It’s also a stones throw to the beach! Easy access to site also. Cheers will definitely be back.
It was a lovely looking site but we got swarmed by mosquitos and had to leave straight away! I think it was just because the time of year and the fact that the site is right next to the rainforest.
Great location and a lovely campsite - and doggo friendly! There were lots of wildlife around to enjoy. Joanna was very accomodating and responded quickly to messages. Thankyou for the stay!
great location, camp site level with mowed grass, nice sunny spot, Johanna great to deal with would recommend if in the area.
So peaceful and scenic. We had a lovely weekend staying at Top Camp 1.
