We had a wonderful weekend even with the weather not being so great the afternoon and next morning. So peaceful and relaxing sitting around fire overlooking the dam watching the ducks braving the cold water. Host Beck and Mark were so wonderful. Beck checked on us the day we arrived to make sure we were ok then Mark came down the next day to make sure we survive the weather from night before. Beck also told us about the rail line walk to the tunnel which runs through their property was a fantastic walk finding a few old relics along the way. Had a visit from the cows and seen the sheep. Our 7mth old pup enjoyed her walks. Sites were nice and flat and considering the rain we had overnight were not muddy. The stars would have been amazing if the sky was clear. We will definitely be back.

What an awesome spot to camp! Large, flat grassy area to camp, nice and private & a lovely outlook over the damn. Fires and pets allowed which is also great! The hosts were sooo friendly and very accomodating. They also gave us some great recommendations for walks in the area; one being an old train tunnel that follows an old railway line on their property. Couldn't recommend more highly!
