Loved our stay at Ben’s! It’s a perfect spot to explore Airlie. So close to town, but you still feel like you’re camping in the bush away from crowds.

As usual, stay on Ben's land was wonderful. Ben is a great host, very kind and helpful. The place itself is not far from Ben's house, but you will have beautiful view of the lagoon and Airlie beach. Please, be aware, that place is located on the hill with unsealed road and you need 4WD to tow your caravan. Also you can get the place on conventional car with tent.

It was lovely and close to everything. The area was big enough for 2 cars and camper trailer.

Ben is so friendly and hospitable.
I really enjoyed meeting him and learning about his sustainable way of life.
The camping spot has a great view and a tarp so I could sleep without the fly sheet.
A very enjoyable stay
Highly recommend and so grateful to Ben for all the little extras.

Our stay at Ben's place was peaceful, we love camping and enjoyed the place, perfect for our time away in the Whitsundays, if you are a true camper that enjoys ruffing it, this is a perfect place that is fully off grid .

Excellent location to Airlie Beach. We had a great stay at Ben’s place. Love the resident Curlews and the chance to sit by the fire at night.

Ben’s place is exactly as described by the host.
So read his comments before you book.
The site is very basic. Toilet is open air composting made from garbage bin. We were a bit confused at first but actually came to enjoy the place.
It is very handy to the beaches and great walks.
Bring your own water and be self sufficient with power.
If you are using a camper or van, the site is a bit challenging to get in and out.
