Camped just at the waters edge and loved it. We could see fish and turtles in the water from where we were.

Great place to relax, fish and enjoy the great landscape. Friendly host happy to give you your space. Used their Canoe to explore the river too.
fantastic spot. we have a small caravan and 4wd and so were able to camp on a spot right next to the river. for large vans there are huge flat grassy areas at the top of the bank. the owners have created a good access to the water to launch canoes and swimming. helpful owners, free firewood, all round top spot, only 10 min to shops and pubs in tiaro.
Excellent spot either right on the river or on lush green grass above the banks of the Mary. Mike had wood at the camp site for us, and a fire pit to use. Great for the little ones to run around.
Mick was a cracker bloke. Nice quiet spot for an Easter weekend. Plenty of space to get out on the kayak and have a fish.
Be back for sure.
This place is paradise. There is no camping by the river but just a short walk and you’re there. Kayaking, swimming and just enjoying the sights and sounds. Our dogs had a ball swimming too.
