We loved camping on Chad's land! He has multiple campsites along the riverside and showed them all to us himself. Each had a nice view of the river, and there were varying options of size, privacy and accessibility. It was perfect for a weekend getaway and we will definitely camp there again.
Chad and all of the crew from the connected Coal Tubing business on the grounds were super friendly and welcoming. We stayed at one of the campsites that was hike-in only and totally worth the trek -- we were right on the water with lots of flat space for tents and trees for hammocks with a perfect spot for a fire. The river tubing we did through Coal Tubing was so fun that we went down twice in a row. One person in our group forgot his hat and sunglasses at the end of the tubing excursion, and the next morning we happily discovered that the crew dropped them off on our car for us. Great people and experience -- I would definitely stay here again.
