It was an amazing 3 days….. Thank you Thank you guys ….. Thinking of going away you must try there place …. Lake view great hiking trails…. The hosts were amazing….This is our second time and we will be back for trips…. Thank you guys …

We arrived in the evening, around 7pm. I’d called Dennis about 2 hours out, as requested. He offered to start a campfire for us, which we happily accepted. When we arrived, he had two fires going for us (!!), one in each site (on either side of the rectangular pond) so we could pick our favorite spot. We picked the site that was hidden from the house by a screen of bushes. The other site is in clear view of the house. Dennis and Sandy met us when we arrived, offered us water and access to their garden hose, and even the use of their bathroom before we settled in. The spot is really gorgeous and we were serenaded by frogs all night, as well as the occasional coyote call. We also saw bats, swallows, and dragonflies. It was quiet and all we needed. Both sites offer easy access to the pond. We swam in the morning before leaving and it was great: clean and great for swimming. It’s spring fed, so very refreshing.

They also have many groomed trails that they invited us to explore, though we didn’t have time to do so. Getting to Shotgun Hollow was a treat, too. You drive along the Susquehanna River and the views are breathtaking.

The one disappointment was the portajohn, which was well cleaned up and supplied, but really needed a pump out and had a gaping hole in the ceiling. On a rainy night you’d get rained on. Thankfully it was a clear night so we were fine. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Sandy and Dennis were wonderful hosts and their land is peaceful and beautiful. They made a fire for us twice and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting by the pond and highly recommend visiting a nearby brewery- Diversion - just over the PA/NY line.

A lovely quiet spot. Nice hike down to creek. Hosts are groovy.

What a wonderful time we had ... the host were amazing .... we plan on coming back....

We loved our stay! The site is gorgeous and peaceful. Our hosts were really communicative and thoughtful! Super fun for a family RV trip.
