What a good find. And so close to home
Janeen is a very gracious hostess and her site is spacious, well kept, beautiful and peaceful
A great welcome with all the information needed for a successful stay
I did not expect a table for 4
And a firepit, with tons of extra wood.
And a charcoal grill too....note to self...return with friends....
Did not burn wood because the day was on the hot side already
The pond with frogs was a treat at sunset
All in all 5 out of 5 stars
I will return and you should give it a try
You will not be disappointed
PS...Tabora is close for ice, good food and dessert for your sunset picnic
Easy, lovely tent camping for group
My friends and I had a great time camping on Janeen's land. There was plenty of room for our 4 tents to fit comfortably. Nice firepit, TONS of firewood, and a couple of outdoor tables and chairs. Janeen was very welcoming when we arrived and otherwise left us to enjoy the weekend.
It's definitely not off-the-grid, as you can probably tell from the listing and photos. You can see the homes on Janeen's properties, as well as some of her neighbors through the trees. We felt we had lots of privacy and it was quiet during the night, so this was totally fine with us. We also liked the proximately to nearby stores to do quick food runs.
A beautiful slice of land and a gracious host, what's not to like? Janeen was very accommodating of the four of us and our dog, and the site has everything you need; ample space to set up camp around the fire pit, as much wood as you can burn, a charcoal grill, tables and chairs, and a picturesque pond to relax by along with a decent amount of trails snaking deeper into the woods. Some of that area was blocked by trees felled by Hurricane Isaias, but nevertheless it was fun to spend the day hiking back there to explore. Would definitely come here again!
My awesome stay at seven oaks farm
Our stay at Seven Oaks Farm was fantastic. Between the excellent communication from Janeen and the site itself, I will definitely want to stay here again. It was as comfortable as it was private with tons of space for your and your guests. This particular weekend was my 30th birthday and I invited 9 of my friends and there way plenty of room and we never felt crowded. The place was beautiful; offering great views starting from the lot where you can see the pond and the well-kept landscaping to the site where there is a nice sized fire pit and plenty of space for tent camping. Provided was a grill, firewood, tables/chairs and restroom amenities. The selfishness in me wants to keep this gem of a place a secret, but I owe it to Janeen and Staci to let you all know how great this place is. If I could give it more than 5/5 stars I would hands down.
An above-and-beyond hostess!
The property is the perfect spot for a quick gateway from Philly! Everything looked almost brand new, and it’s very quite that you almost forget you’re only 30 minutes away from Philly. The grounds are very well taken care of, and the hostess is an absolute gem. We told her we’re having a small barbecue (4 people) on Saturday, and she had a charcoal grill, a solid table and chairs, firewood already in the fire pit, and wooden lounge chairs by the pond! Seriously, it looked like a picture out of a magazine! Jeanine and Staci are very hospitable, respectful, and generous. We’re lucky to have stumbled upon this site, and we’ll definitely be back there again soon!
