We loved our stay at Blackberry Meadows Farm! The setting was very peaceful and private and had a great view of the sunset. Bed was comfy and the tent was clean. We would visit again!
BlackBerry meadows is an enchanted bubble of serenity where the hard work and vision of this family is being shared and cherished among their community. Our east tent platform was private, clean, and a pleasure to bunk in.
We toured the farm and sampled the exquisite food, met all the pets and the children thriving in this rich and innovative environment.
They were brewing their first batch of beer when I arrived and they served me coffee every morning, We cooked over the fire some of their delicious homegrown food and talked about permaculture.
I decided to stay an extra night because it was so enjoyable.
My son made fast friends there and was frolicking thru the meadow about our platform.
Didn't stay, great host
Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to stay at this site but I wanted to leave a review because the host really did their best to try and accommodate us. We were traveling home to the east coast from Nevada when our car broke down in Colorado. Jennifer was kind enough to let us move our campsite dates. By some fun irony we broke down again for a different reason in Missouri and decided to just head straight home. We really wish we could have come to stay but the car had other plans.
What a wonderful experience! It was everything that I hoped for. There were no surprises other than my wife’s amazement. The tent, the location, the host and the ambient is perfect. Will definitely come again and I will recommend to all my friends.
Quiet farm, cozy bed
The tent site was very private and quiet. The hosts provided firewood and bedding, but brought our own bedding and blankets to use. The bed was surprisingly comfy and we slept great! Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I would recommend this stay and would consider staying again.
