We invite everyone to come share our property with us! Our approach is to have a small number of campsites over a large area (4 sites on 75 acres) to maintain privacy and keep that “middle of the woods” feeling. This property sits high in the river hills above the mighty Allegheny with stunning views, soaring eagles, and wildlife living in its natural setting. There is even a waterfall with a natural pool to enjoy. This property is undeveloped with no homes on it. It is private, and posted. It is a place you can feel safe and secure. Sites are limited to 4 adults max (kids don’t count against the 4). With no electricity or running water, it is free of the constant presence of random people that you find in state parks. This property is a truly great place to disconnect, discover new places, and forget the outside world. This particular site comes with a canvas tent already set up for you. There is a fire ring, a cooking grate, a picnic table and room for 2 cars. Make sure you bring either an AWD or 4WD vehicle to access it as it does get wet on the road in. Within a 10 minute drive of your campsite you can find The North Country Trail, Rails to Trails Trailheads and Boat Launches on the Allegheny River. A must see property! The reviews don’t lie!

We stayed for two nights and it was hard to leave! The site was so quiet and peaceful with lots of space to explore. The tent was set up on arrival with the porta John and wood nearby, though we scavenged for our own wood with no problem. The creek was beautiful and we were able to climb down pretty far. Overall it was a great stay and Chris was a great host!

The tent was more than spacious, could stand up in. Very private, primitive, very nice! Waterfall was a short hike and worth it. Chris was a great host, highly recommend to disconnect from the world for a bit

We had a great stay on Chris's property. Waterfall/smimming hole was very nice and just walking distance from the campsite. I would love to stay there again.

Awesome property all around. All of the sites are unique. Some more off the beaten path. The six person tent was super clean and tucked among the pines. Lots of interesting mushrooms growing among the pine needles. Deer, birds, groundhogs, squirrels, and turkey were all spotted at various times on the property. The six person tent site slopes a little bit, but nothing that prevented full use. Picnic table and platform were level. The fire ring fits a weber grill grate perfectly on top allowing for wood fired cooking. Picnic table was sturdy and in excellent condition, as was the platform. Portapotty was just a quick walk away and was clean. If you are looking for wild and rugged, this site does not disappoint. Chris was an excellent host and his intructions and advice were timely and really helpful. Most of the sites at this location were easy to drive in and park next to. The six person tent site requires a truck/off road capable vehicle if you intend to park right next to your camp (host made sure to advise about this fact which I appreciated.) My Ram 1500 had no problem. A regular car or station wagon would be a no go for this particular site. You could get pretty close in a car and just hike in. Something to keep in mind if you bring a bunch of stuff and don't have the vehicle to get back to the site. This site does give a lot of privacy, though. I had 4g cell service at the site through verizon which was a plus. Tree spacing was also perfect for hammock placement and hammock camping. I will definitley return.

Weber grill grate fits perfectly on the fire ring. Wood fired steak for the win! Perfect spot for hammock camping. Good tree spacing. Not alot of widow makers in the canopy. Picnic table is level. A few wood blocks are useful to bring to level out chairs, or in this case, the camp stove. The shovel was there when we arrived. Super useful for the fire. Would recommend bringing one.Six person tent

This campsite is great! Highly recommend. The property is beautiful and very private. We stayed at the 6 person site with the tent already set up. Owner had no issues with us setting up an additional tent on the property. The stream located on property is absolutely gorgeous. My kids had a great time hiking around and playing in the creek. The owner was also very responsive to any questions we had. There is a campsite located right inside the entrance to the property that is probably best if you do not have a truck. This site is less private than others but much closer to the creek. The other sites are tucked back and bit more in the woods but highly recommend a truck or Jeep to get in. Again, highly recommend and cannot wait to go back!

By far the best hip camp I’ve come across. What a beautiful peice of land this is real camping! Chris was very hospitable this is a place to experience if you want some privacy and nature. As well as many awesome near by Sites to see the only thing that I would have changed would have been is not staying longer.

My husband and I stayed at the canvas tent site and it was perfect for us. The location was quiet, secluded and the scenery was one of a kind. The canvas tent was spacious and easy to manage; they even had decorative lights in the tent! Next time we plan to bring our kids since they will love it too!
Chris and Ashley have done a wonderful job setting up this site- it was everything a 'lover of nature' would enjoy.

If you love being amongst nature, this is the campsite for you. You have can see and hear all types of wildlife throughout your stay and when the sun goes down the star are on full display. Beautiful and remote camping in a very spacious canvas tent. I highly recommend. 4 wheel drive cars are definitely prefered here if you plan to bring your vehical all the way to the campsite. The land is a bit rugged.

The creek that runs through the property to the Allegheny River. Here is what you can expect when booking the canvas tent.

This place is AMAZING! My son and I stayed at the site with the tent set up. There was plenty of firewood around the camp for dinner and roasting marshmallows. We spent most of the time exploring and climbing up and down the stream. Lots of wildlife all around us at all times. I highly recommend checking this place out!
