This is a great quick spot for anyone looking to camp. Only 100 yards deep into the 75 acre property, you can pull a vehicle right up to your site. This spot is around a 20 minute drive from I-80. During that 20 minute drive you will pass a grocery store, a gas station, fine dining overlooking the Allegheny river (with a nice bar inside), a 6-pack shop, and a pizza shop!

Amazing property with a waterfall
Was a great trip on a great piece of land. The camp site has a creek near by with a waterfall. Excellent for family photos or Instagram/tiktok obsessed teens. The land also had a number of walking/atv trails, offering a few miles of trails.
Was 20 minutes off of I-80 and pretty close to I-79 and state route 422. The views on the site are breathtaking as well. I would definitely recommend. The owner was easy to work with and transparent.
What an amazing property. Perfect place to get away. Very remote but only about 10 minutes from a grocery store and gas station. It’s about 20 minutes off I-80. Completely worth it and would definitely come back.
10/10 will be back
This site was great! Chris was extremely nice and gave us a call before we got there just to let us know a bit more about the site and even offered to let us a see another one of his sites to see if we liked it better. The site was well kept and had a nice picnic table and fire ring. There was also a lot of dry grass and sticks around to make a fire. Our dog loved it as well. It is the perfect distance from busy streets and cities as well for a quick getaway that isn’t too far, but nice and isolated.
Great location, view and host!
Chris’s property was fantastic. We hiked the trails and took in the view over the river. We even saw a bald eagle. Make sure to have dinner and drinks in Foxburg during your stay. They have the best pizza.
Great place for camping
We had a great time at travelers campsite on 75 acres. We were at site 3 for the first night. Slept with the sound of waterfall. It was a very soothing and secluded place. The second night Chris told us that site 1 is unoccupied for the night and we can camp there. Site 1 had a beautiful view and we were lucky to see lots of stars in the sky in the night time. There are couple of trails close to the campsite that you can check out too.
We had a blast staying at travelers campsite! The drive was beautiful, the site and surrounding areas were just as great. Our site was very secluded, but had the essential fire ring, picnic table & porta potty (which was amazingly clean). We hiked to the creek and waterfall! Overall it was a great stay and I would highly recommend
