Shangri-La at Cold Springs

The main campsite provides plenty of area for multiple tents and features a main gathering site with a large campfire in the middle. Several adirondack chairs and tables surround the campfire. There is a long sitting wall along the back of the site. A charcoal grill is provided and a grate to cook over the campfire. An "oops I forgot that" bin is located at each camps

There is a long sitting wall along the back of the site. A charcoal grill is provided and a grate to cook over the campfire. An "oops I forgot that" bin is located at each campsite. Paths through the woods abound and pass through the 3 small, more primitive and woodsy, campsites (available in other listings). There is a small stream at the edge of the property. One of the wooded paths leads to a 1/4 acre pond with seating areas, a dock, canoe and great bass fishing (catch and release please). Campsites are in the woods and far enough away from the main house to provide campers with plenty of privacy. From the pond you can see the main property but the pond is located down over the hill from the house. We are a perfect stop in the middle of many of Pennsylvania's beautiful streams, hiking/backpacking trails, State Parks...including Loyalsock State Park, Pine Creek Rail Trail, Ricketts Glen State Park, Rock Run, World's End State Park, Hyner, Old Loggers Path, Black Forest Trail, Loyalsock Trail, Lycoming Creek with great trout fishing, Williamsport Growers Market on Saturdays, and more. Our property is our labor of love and being able to share it with others is only part of its beauty....nature alone does the rest. Come and share in our little piece of paradise...our Shangri-La.
***NOTE*** Please read description about the driveway carefully. If you end up in the wrap around driveway with the brown garage you are in the wrong spot. The correct driveway is just above that. If the pond is on your right then you need to go past the wrap around driveway with the brown garage and take the next right. If the pond is on your left then you went too far and need to turn around and once you go past pond and brown garage then take the next right. It never hurts to message me when you are almost here and I can keep an eye out for you.

Mackensie and Sam are awesome hosts! Love this camping spot. This was our second time on their land, and it's a great place to camp. Thank you again!!!!
What a great camping spot!
Mackensie and Sam were amazing hosts, always in touch and offering us whatever we needed during our stay.
We were very impressed with the site and all of the included amenities, like an "essentials" box with things like soap, paper towels, plastic cutlery, plates, cups, etc.
Highly recommend this site for a "on the beaten path" get away. It's very easy to access, close to "civilization", and has lots of space for multiple couples/families.

We loved our stay on this beautiful and peaceful property. Sam and Mackenzie go out of their way to make sure your trip is everything you hope it to be.

This was such a great spot to camp for the night while we were traveling. There was some slight confusion upon arrival and I’m not sure that we actually stayed at the spot we booked, as someone else was already there. But it wasn’t a big deal and the spot we set up camp at was lovely; we’d definitely stay here again!
We did not luck out on weather during our weekend adventure - very rainy start and end however this camp site was adorable and we really enjoyed our time at Shangri-la! The site is very well equipped and maintained. Our young boys really enjoyed exploring the property and walking to the pound.
It was so nice to have waste bins, a very clean porta potty, chairs around the camp fire, picnic table… there were even fresh flowers to greet us upon arrival.
Thank you Mackensie and Sam for a fun weekend!!
It was a relaxing, happy, and peaceful weekend with my husband. Mackensie and Sam are more than gracious hosts with a knack for making you feel welcome, like friends. We had plenty of privacy and it was an all around awesome experience. They have the most adorable pup too! Mackensie and Sam made sure we had all that we needed, then left us go. Their property is beautiful and I definitely know that we found our perfect getaway spot! We will be booking again here. Thank you again!

Relaxing stay with great amenities
We had a nice relaxing weekend at Cold Spring Acres. The campsite had a huge fire pit, grill, firewood, chairs, an immaculate port-a-potty and a bin of supplies in case you forgot anything.
The property was a bit smaller than expected but it was a very quiet and peaceful area. The campsite is 100% private. This would probably be best for tent camping as it’s a bit tight parking a van or car by the site if you planned to sleep in it.
Overall, hosts were very helpful and responsive!!

I am sorry that you are having mixed feelings about the campsite but glad you still had a good time here. Since you were here we have added better signs and marked where and where not to drive. We are always welcome to hearing any suggestions for improvement. Hope you enjoy your summer!
Mackensie and Sam have an amazing spot we were welcomed in and the site was warm clean and well maintained our hosts dog was an amazing playmate yo our child and pooch !! 10 /10 !!!! Loved our stay

The Shangri-la site was very nice and a perfect base camp for a weekend of biking at Pine Creek Gorge and hiking Little Pine State Park. Sam and Mackenskie had things all set up for us when we got in - nice big fire ring and dry firewood, solid table, and perfect chairs for birdwatching. Would recommend!
