We always have a wonderful time at this special place! We especially love the labyrinth and fire cauldron, and, of course, Khyber.

Wonderful hosts...all we needed and more. Great directions.

Thank you, Ellen. It was wonderful to have both of you here for the long weekend. Thank you for making the long trip and honoring us with your peaceful presence. Sandy
Beautiful and peaceful respite.
Wonderful! Sandy and John radiate kindness and generosity. They're present and available, but give you all the space and privacy you need. The 8 acres are a perfect blend of maintained paths and natural forest and the creek is calm and surprisingly remote feeling once on it. The cabin itself is the cleanest I've seen and has everything you need for a restful visit.

Thank you, Catherine, for coming all the way across the state to bless our space! You and your friend, being so intentional about making time to be away together, was an inspiration to me to go do that with a friend, too, after this long year of being apart. I hope some of the peace you found here will last for a long time. Sandy
My family and I absolutely loved it here. It was our first overnight trip after the pandemic started, and it was a great choice. Lush, green scenery, and a nice, off-the-grid vibe. We had great conversations at the boat dock and in the prayer maze, and good reflection time on the screened-in porch. Khyber was incredibly friendly and kept us on the path when we went hiking.
What a treat it was to stay here. I'd absolutely love to come back again!
Oh, I forgot to write up my haiku for the creative impressions book. Here you go...
Unplug and unwind
What a treat in this fast world
My soul is at peace
Thank you.

What a fantastic retreat this was! My 10 year old and I had the best time here. On the property there is a lot to explore and keep you entertained. Visiting and exploring around the stream filled most afternoons. Because it flowed slowly, kayaking on it was a breeze for us beginners. Sandy and John are two wonderful souls, and their dog, Khyber, was a welcome companion during our stay. He willingly led us around the property and down different hiking trails, and won't be forgotten anytime soon. I highly recommend this location, and my daughter and I are already discussing a return trip.

Thank you, Harold! Khyber and we were all glad you two were able to spend time here! I hope, too, you can come again! Sandy
Our stay was a beautiful experience and we plan to return.

My husband and I came with her two children and had a wonderful time! It was an unusually wet and chilly Memorial Day Weekend, but that didn't stop us from having fun. The cozy fireplace kept us warm and we had fun bonding, reading, and playing games inside listening to the rain come down on the gorgeous skylights. The cabin is very clean and attractive inside. When the rain let up, the girls enjoyed feeding the goats and chickens, climbing up to the treehouse, and playing with Khyber the dog (I seriously have never met such a gentle natured dog). Sandy and John were so warm and welcoming. It's a nice place to come with kids; there was plenty to do within driving distance, since it was raining and we needed to find indoor activities. The labyrinth is gorgeous, and you can tell that the place is full of spirit and love.

Thank you, Anna. We were impressed with how your family creatively enjoyed a weekend with the weather being less than optimal! And a special thank you to the two younger artists who left their beautiful thank you cards. That was very special.

Thank you, Robert. This place is as special as the people who bring their loving energy, so thank you for coming again with that. Loved the poem you left in the guest book! Sandy
