These stream-side spots can be accessed by SUV, truck, RV or a car with good ground clearance. Campers can easily access our adjacent forestland and may also decide to brave the cold water for a quick dip in Federal Run. Within less than 1 mile, you can visit a historical cemetery containing the grave site of George Washington's travel companion, stock supplies at the local Country Market or adventure into the Erie National Wildlife Refuge.
We strive to provide you with a secluded, private visit. Our rural setting offers plenty of natural beauty, with community conveniences just a short drive away. We live along a paved, state road, however access into the campsite is via a dry, maintained farm driveway. We keep several trails and sites mowed - we're happy to help you find the location on our property that provides the best setting and accommodations for your needs and ideals.
Tents, truck campers, and small trailers will be able to access stream-side sites. We can accommodate larger rigs a short distance from the water.

Relaxing creek sounds and quiet nat
This is a lovely campsite directly next to a creek. The creek provided a nice sound to relax with, and a deep swimming hole for my kiddos to spend many hours in. There is also a great amount of diversity in the surrounding land. There is a trail through a little swamp with some frogs and the surrounding forests. This stay was very relaxing, the camp hosts were very kind and accommodating. We would definitely return! Thank you so much for letting us use your land!!
Pretty setting between a creek and a field off a very quiet road. The campsite had plenty of firewood, fire pit, and picnic table. Also a trash bin, which is always appreciated when on the road. Guy is a great host! Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Where to start....
So many great things to share. When meeting Guy you immediately feel at home and he is someone you want to know more about. The site was so inviting. We placed our tent right near the river. I didn't want to fall asleep at night because the peaceful sound was so relaxing. There are very little sounds from your surrounding. Birds, wind and rustle from deer are easily heard. The site was mowed. Picnic table, fire pit and garbage can. Plenty of firewood and kindling to last for days!! A map of the property and a list of local needs in the area was also provided. There is a local grocery store about 1/2 mile down the road. The hiking trails are all different types of terrain, hiking boots recommended. Depending on the weather, bring something to create a shaded place. We had our canopy, thank goodness as it was hot. You are able to see the host home from your site but complete privacy is given. They offered to text them if we needed anything which was super nice. I wish we had more time to explore their property as it was so beautiful! Definitely will be back. Thank you Guy and Family.
Beautiful, secluded location!
We couldn't be happier with our stay on Guy's land. It was totally private, very beautiful and very serene. Guy was a great host (very helpful and considerate, but never overbearing or obtrusive).
The location is as described... it's far enough off of the road (which has very little traffic to begin with) so that you rarely heard any vehicles, or any neighbors. Our spot was right next to the creek, and had a full-size picnic table, fire pit and firewood. We loved it!
We had a very nice and relaxing stay at federal run. It was nice and secluded right by the creek, very peacful to sit and listen to the water run. Guy was very welcoming and helpful with anything we might have needed. Easy to get to the site not one bit hard finding it. I will definitely be making another trip to Guys land in the future!
