William was very quick to respond to all texts prior to our visit. We were welcomed by William who gave us a driving tour of his quaint/quirky property. We had a pleasant, level site with full hookups, a clean, heated bathroom with running water and flush toilet was available for our use if needed. The property is wide open and lovely for walking… the tree house and antique airplane added a special touch! We woukd recommend Fairview Farms to others and would happily return if we were in the area again!

Easy camping
Nice host, quiet, lots of space, close to swatara rail trails. Nothing glamorous just easy simple camping. Would highly recommend.

Fairview Farms - Rustic Tent
Awesome little spot with plenty of romping room. Wood stove kept things toasty and plenty of space for our crew of 5. Hope to come back.

Fairview Farms - Treehouse
Amazing Treehouse
Great time staying in the treehouse with my wife and son. I think 3 people fit comfortably. Any more would be too tight, unless they were small kids. The treehouse is larger than it looks in the pictures and stayed very warm with the little heater on a 30 degree night. The lighting was very cute and there were thoughtful little touches throughout the property.
Bill was very welcoming and friendly. George, (the young dog) was also very friendly. We enjoyed the treehouse and the property very much. We got to go to the hilltop and watch the sunrise. We sat by the fire and the pond with the ducks and chickens overlooking. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. We will definitely be back to try the Rustic Tent.

Fairview Farms - Rustic Tent
We went for a quick getaway with the kids and loved it. Fairview farms was one of a kind. It's definitely on the rustic side but well kept. The farm is picturesque even during late winter/early spring when there isnt as much foliage. When we went temperatures were right around freezing at night and the woodstove was more then enough to keep us cozy and warm. The best part is William and Erin were amazing hosts. We were got in late so William started the woodstove for us, we felt like they really cared about making our stay the best possible. Hosts that care can make or break any stay and they are very gracious. The kids loved seeing the chickens and ducks on the farm and we had free run of most of their property so the kids could explore. We would stay in the tent again but can hardly wait to try their tree house next!
Close to nearby Satawara state park, highly recommend the nearby Bordner Cabin trail. Our 6y/o was able to walk the entire ~3 mile gravel trail without difficulty. So beautiful!
