Gaze southwest through the massive bay window to enjoy incredible panoramic views of the Blue Mountain and Swatara Creek Park, beautiful sunsets, stary nights, and the warmth of a crackling wood stove from your bed and table! The all-weather tent is approximately 12'x16' and sleeps 5, possibly 6 if you bring sleeping mats or have young children. Outside you will find a very large stone-lined fire pit. We plan to add a rustic pine tree picnic table as soon as the snow melts a bit.
Bring your own sleeping bags, camp gear, and cookware. Minimal amenities provided including a camping lantern or other light source. A small cookware set is available (prefer to use your own or clean ours very thoroughly). Axe and hatchet. Campfire cooking grate.
The hot tub is located next to the owner's home. Guests are welcome to use this at any time but must reserve and pay for a time slot. * Book this through the Extras *
We are within walking distance to Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to the local winery, bowling alley, pub/diner & movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby.
Hershey Park is approx a 30 min drive from our location.

Really enjoyed this spot. Beautiful views, comfortable, and very fun. Only downside is that the bathroom is a bit of a wall. Overall I would recommend this to a friend and may even be back some day!
Beautiful mountain view’s
Bill and Erin were excellent hosts! The views were exceptional and you can drive right up to the tent structure to unload your things! The wood stove kept things warm and they have plenty of chairs to sit around a campfire. We will definitely come back again!
Not your average night.
Definitely a great camping experience, very comfortable tent, with awesome views morning and evening. The wood stove and oil lamp were great additions to make our night here more connected with the outdoors. Erin and Bill were also very attentive, and made sure we had enough wood, and were comfortable. Thank you for the hospitality and for building this awesome time-warp-tent.
Great family time!
The views are beautiful. They are nice hosts. We enjoyed the hot tub. The beds in the bunk beds are comfy. The hot stove really warms up the tent. The first night we had it really too hot but second night we got the hang of it. I would not recommend using it to cook in the summer and should bring a portable grill or if your comfortable cooking over the open fire. unfortunately, the second night it poured the tent did leak around the cot area. This wasn’t a big deal to us. i would definitely recommend for a weekend trip but not longer only due to no showers. They did have a toilet which was nice. It was a little walk but us city folks just drove down and was fine. If you are considering this site I would recommend. Also, pet friendly. It was our first time taking our dog on vacation with us!
We loved our stay at the Fairview Farms Glamping tent! Unfortunately we didn't arrive until late so we missed the gorgeous sunset view, but waking up in the morning looking out over the valley was worth it. The wood stove provided more than enough heat for us. The hosts were great at communicating and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we were traveling through.
We loved our weekend getaway to Fairview Farms. The glamping tent site had all the amenities we could have needed, making a quick camping trip a breeze so we could really enjoy our time away without too much set-up needed. We added on unlimited firewood, a hot tub session and a dozen fresh eggs for $30 - such a great add-on and well worth it! We'll definitely be back :)
A great setup. The view was definitely great. You can drive right up to the campsite so it makes it easy to get all camping essentials. It was really great talking to Erin and Bill. Their property is truly great.
