Quick side note - We can allow instant bookings when both sites are dry. If you request and are ‘denied’ it is only because one or both sites are too muddy. Please refer to photos from Creekside 1 also. Come camp right along the Unami Creek. You can listen to babbling waters and see all types of wildlife. You’ll be only a few minutes away from the Perkiomen trails for hiking or biking, minutes from Spring Mountain Adventures and only minutes from Green Lane Park. You can bring your own paddleboards or kayaks to the park or rent there. There are two paddleboards here for your use on the creek. In the past, we had fabulous trails on our property, but sadly most were destroyed by a tornado about a year ago. You can still hike on the property, but not as easily. The biggest drawback to the property is the noise of the nearby quarry, which operates 5 to 6 days a week. You might need earplugs as some days they start as early as 6 AM. Some days it’s quiet. We never know. In the future, we plan to build a platform so that we have a flat area for tents that is much more secluded. Please review all of the rules before booking. This site can fit three tents. Thank you. Katie and Marc

Stay here! this place rocks!!
Katie & Marc,
You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for your hospitality and for sharing your beautiful slice of nature with us. We can’t wait to come back, relax, and explore. Your place is a gem. Many thanks again!
We stayed in our tent (be sure to bring your own) with a fire pit and lounge chairs (both provided by the host, including firewood!) right next to a gorgeous flowing creek. We had privacy among the wooded landscape and even paddle-boarded (yep, they provided those too) on the water. The hosts were amazing from start to finish—from helping us carry our gear down the hill to our site, to cooking us a delicious breakfast we ate at our campsite… next to our morning fire… next to the creek… SO relaxing*!!! (*Side note: Apparently the neighboring quarry unpredictably does blasts and it can be super loud at times… we lucked out and it was quiet for us... but I also think it would be cool to hear that in person.)
This is a place we will definitely come back to in the Spring. We loved our Fall trip here and highly recommend this place for it’s combination of being an immersive, private nature experience—meets—friendly, thoughtful hosts—meets—backcountry glamping amenities (including a portable potty)—meets—This place is the perfect outdoor weekend getaway (I wish we could have stayed longer… Oh, and did I mention there are 9 acres of forest left to explore? And apparently lots in the area to explore…). We’ll be back.
A perfect getaway!
What a perfect getaway from the city! The crisp fall weather was optimal. The location was idyllic. The hosts (Mark, Katie and kids) were absolutely delightful, thoughtful and exceptionally hospitable. We felt right at home. We could not have asked for a better set-up-- creekside, well laid out camp site, drinking water, water-tight bin filled with essentials, fire pit, firewood, stand-up paddle boards, trails, fish biting. Katie even left us a string of solar powered outdoor lights that really came in handy. It was a memorable night and we will surely be back!
Did i have to leave?
I had a lovely two nights day at this listing and I can write an article of a review, but I'll keep it short. When you pull up to the site you come upon a very unassuming cul-de-sac. Once you turn down the driveway you are transported to lush forest scenery accompanied by a chorus of birds and insect calls. Marc greeted us at the end of the driveway and acted as a generous and well-informed tour guide of their land. Katie was an absolute doll of a host and provided us with additional gear in case we had forgotten anything. Down a hill from the back of the property to the right of the fork you come across campsite 1. This spot is in a small clearing with a perfect view of the night sky. Through a couple trees and about 50 meters away is the creek bank. When I tell you I didn't want to leave, I mean if given the opportunity I would stay and be the groundskeeper goblin haha. We were able to be isolated and rough it a bit while still having the convenience of a house nearby in case of emergency. (Which is good when you forget to pack a backup battery and have your phone away). I could have not asked for a better way to end my camping season. I hope to visit this listing more next year and really start to explore the woods 🥰
Katie and Mark were very hospitable during our stay and accommodated our entire camping group right when we arrived. Even when raining upon check in, they welcomed us and helped us with our gear as we settled into their spacious backyard beautifully placed next to a creek. They have two stand up paddleboards along with multiple floaties available to use. We all enjoyed our stay here and are very thankful to Katie and Mark for their property
loved the place. The owner and the son were really nice and welcomed us with great hospitality. They were really quick to respond to all the questions I had. My family and I had a great time even though the weather was extremely hot. We will definitely be coming back when the weather is nicer and cooler so we can make use of the fireplace.
River camping fun
Had an awesome time at this site! Katie and her family were such gracious hosts - from setting up a canopy for rain, to firewood, they had it all!
The river is amazing. You can’t find many sites like this, plus the amount of activities that were provided was a huge plus (2 paddle boards, tubs, rafts.) Would definitely recommend this site.
Amazing location , beautiful creek
We had fantastic time at Katies place. She was so generous to provide us a lot of extras. When we reached there it was raining which was very disappointing but katie provided us her Canopy immediately which literally saved us big time..!!
Next day she also provided us with raft paddleboards and other water activity extras to enjoy the creek.
Amazing location with beautiful creek and most importantly hosts are the BEST..!!
Perfect little slice of heaven
What a great spot- what a great weekend! Katie and her husband are the nicest and most accommodating hosts. The spot is lovely and private under a shady canopy of trees next to a babbling creek. We borrowed their paddle boards instead of dropping in our canoe and it was the right choice- so much fun. The creek is crystal clear and stock full of crawfish, which were fun to watch skittering around. The spot is pack in and out and the hill is quite steep (down to go in and up to get out). It is obviously a primitive site- but our hosts provided 5 gallons of potable water which was more than enough- and a primitive toilet (we brought our own) and wood for the fire pit. Highly recommend.
