Quick side note - We can only aallow instant bookings for each site if they are both dry enough for camping. If your request is denied, it’s only because of the mud factor. Thank you for understanding. Come camp right along the Unami Creek. You can listen to babbling waters and see all types of wildlife. You’ll be only a few minutes away from the Perkiomen trails for hiking or biking, minutes from Spring Mountain Adventures and only minutes from Green Lane Park. You can bring your own paddle boards or kayaks to the park or rent there. There are two paddleboards here for your use on the creek. In the past, we had fabulous trails on our property, but sadly most were destroyed by a tornado about a year ago. You can still hike on the property, but not as easily. The biggest drawback to the property is the noise of the nearby quarry, which operates 5 to 6 days a week. You might need earplugs as some days they start as early as 6 AM. Some days it’s quiet. We never know. In the future, we plan to build a platform so that we have a flat area for tents that is much more secluded. Please review all of the rules before booking. This area can fit 3 tents. Thank you. Katie and Marc

The site was great! Very nice, plenty of space. We had 3 large tents and could have had another. Tent spaces aren’t directly next to each other which is nice for a little privacy from the group. The other campsite on the property was far enough away that you didn’t notice it. Katie and Marc were very helpful and friendly. The site became a bit muddy because we had a good bit of rain. That was our only downside to the trip and also unavoidable. I would like to use this site again in the future
Wonderful site with excellent hosts
Our stay at Katie and Marc’s campsite couldn’t have been better. Marc helped haul the gear to our spot which already had water, firewood, inflatable rafts and an easy up canopy waiting for us. The site was clean and well maintained with a nice view of the creek. The site was within view of the main house but, because it was at the bottom of a hill, felt completely secluded. This was exactly what we wanted for a quick camping trip with a young kid and we’ll absolutely book again if we get the chance!
Katie and Marc were wonderful hosts and the property is beautiful! We were provided with firewood, an easy up canopy, chairs, a fire pit, water, and a camp toilet. Marc helped haul our gear down to the campsite and was very helpful in getting the lay of the land. We couldn’t have asked for a better location and will definitely be back when we can!
Katie was an exceptional host who made our stay truly special. We came up from Philly for my child's 9th bday, and Katie surprised us with balloons, a birthday streamer, bubbles, and snacks at our site. So thoughtful! She was attentive throughout our stay and very quick to respond to texts.
The campsite itself was down the hill from the house and right on a serene creek, good for paddle-boarding (there are 2 available on site) and walking, and deep enough to swim in at parts. It was equipped as advertised with a table, a fire pit, a water cooler, and four chairs, and there were a few carved out options for tents. We spent most of the weekend in the creek: the kids floated, explored, took out a raft, and enjoyed parent-powered paddle board trips. We saw grackles, turkey buzzards, toads, crawfish, a baby turtle, and a water snake.
While on land, we were blessed by the emergence of the brood X cicadas. Most of them came out of their burrows Friday night, and by Saturday morning had abandoned their skins. A slow trickle continued to emerge on Saturday and Sunday, and we literally got to watch them grow and transform from ground to sky. It was amazing!
We camped for just two nights and we only drove an hour to get there, but it truly felt like a vacation. Thanks, Katie, for such a wonderful break!
This place was perfect! Just private enough and in a great spot, right at the creek. My son took advantage of the fishing but not the paddle boards being it’s too late in the year to risk falling in! But will definitely be back again in the spring. The hosts were wonderful, they were a great help and super nice. So glad we found this place, thank you!
