Great, spacious campsite with beautiful views. Owner provides firewood, water, chairs, picnic tables and hammocks. Wooden deck is great for setting up your tent. There is an uphill walk to the campsite (10-15 minutes) with carts provided by owner to help carry supplies. Bring rope to secure your tent to the deck!
It was such an amazing stay. The location is very accessible to folks in Philly and the campsite is just perfect. It has everything we needed for a great weekend with our senior dog.
I will warn that the hike in is a bit steep so learn from us and pack a little lighter (the wagon helped out a lot though!)
Lovely, private camp
We had a great stay! Lovely and private camp site with great views. Nice accommodations including a pop up tent for when it rains and wagons to help haul your gear. Lookin g forward to our next stay!
A perfect camp
Easily one of the best camping experiences of my life. Everything we needed was there - hammocks, a few tarps, firewood, chairs, and a rugged cart to bring our equipment up the hill on the 10 minute hike. There’s a lovely brook with a perfect little spot for a dip in the cool water. Truly excellent.
The 4 of us stayed for 2 nights. It got pretty hot during the day but found some nice relief in the stream that was close by. Close to town if you forget anything. Far enough away from other homes. You barely know anyone else is around. Saw some older bear scat but never saw bears. Heard plenty of foxes, saw a turkey and had a mocking bird neighbor who just blasted away all day long lol. Very beautiful Rocky Mountain ridge camping spot. Plenty of foliage and trees that love rocky soil and put up with the mountain extremes. Plenty of tarps and four post pop up tent to keep over one of the picnic tables. Plenty of wood to burn. Thanks Mark! We’ll be back!
