Awesome, private site
We had a wonderful time on Carrie’s property! Perfect for those looking for a private site with room to spread out. Carrie was a great host and gave detailed directions. Bonus that the site comes with firewood and water! Our dogs love it too. We will be back!
AWESOME!!! Wow what a great property and great hosts! Staying at Barakah Heritage Farm Deer Meadow is a must. The scenery is fantastic and the stars at night are out of this world! Close by to great hiking and fishing at both Worlds End and Ricketts Glen State Parks! Would highly recommend to anyone considering.
Peace in the middle of nowhere
We wanted a site that wasn't two feet from the next site, and we found it. at Barakah Heritage Farm Deer Meadow. The site was exactly as advertised. Carrie did an excellent job of communicating. You need to read all of the messages she sends you so you can come prepared to enjoy your stay at this beautiful site.
Beautiful views and quiet space
It was a very scenic and peaceful setting for a camping trip. The meadow was wide open and very beautiful. The forest area with the fire pit was very useful and spacious. The set up and directions to the location are very precise and easy to understand. Our host was very nice when introducing us to the farm. The items of firewood and water were very helpful to make it a successful stay. I would highly recommend staying at any of the spaces on this farm.
The deer meadow site is beautiful and very secluded. You drive through two fields and arrive at the edge of the second. Just into the woods is the site. Great host, great campsite. We would definitely go again.
Best of both worlds!
Spent a weekend in the Deer Meadow site while visiting some local hiking trails. The Farm in general, and the camp site specifically, were extraordinarily serene and offered a lovely mixture of amenities and seclusion. We greatly appreciated the free firewood and drinking water, the clever design of the camp toilets, and the adorable farm animals! The site was accessible and the directions clear and straightforward, Carrie was a very generous host and helped us with everything we needed. My traveling companions and I are already looking for more trails in the vicinity to visit, because this is the place we want to stay at again!
We had a nice stay at Deer Meadow, even though we dealt with a lot of rain. The campsite is very private, and you have the option of setting up in the woods or along the meadow (we opted for the meadow because the woods were just way too wet). Being able to get to Worlds End State Park was fantastic, and we appreciated the provided firewood and water from our host. Definitely pack camp chairs, and possibly a small table if you'd need it for food prep.
Such a beautiful farm. It felt a bit like we were on a safari getting into the campsite, and had both a whole field and forest to ourselves. Carrie was very available and attentive a host if you need anything. Such a wonderful space, we'll be sure to visit again.
