The site can accommodate two RVs, but I would only rent to one group at a time so you are not next to strangers. The site was formerly used by a mobile home. The land is relatively flat, some wet marsh areas. An interstate gas pipeline passes through the property making a great place to hike and watch animals - deer, turkeys, birds and perhaps even a bear! There are hunting stands on the pipeline which make a good place to sit and watch wildlife without them seeing you in case you do photography. We are 20 minutes from Mansfield, PA (Walmart) to the West and 20 minutes to Troy, PA to the East. The Cory Creek Golf course is 10 miles. Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY is 40 miles to the North. The Little League Museum in Williamsport, PA is 55 miles to the South. The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon is 35 miles to the West. The elevation is 2,400 feet so it is cooler in the Summer than the valley areas nearby. There are bass and bluegill in the pond (please do not keep fish). Only barb less hooks allowed. There are thousands acres of State Forest land three (3) miles to the South of the site where you can hunt during the season. Most Armenia Mountain Townships allows ATV and snowmobile traffic. The roads are mainly gravel. Cell reception is spotty, but not hard to find. We have fenced pastures if you desire to bring along your horse(s).

We had an outstanding stay at Larue's campsite and highly reccomend you staying here. If you are looking for a remote, wooded, peaceful, secluded site, this is for you. This is a private campsite, on the owners 100 acre lot and you are surrounded by others wooded lots as well. Larue and his wife were so kind! He took us on a private tour of the property, cut grass for a walking path, trimmed a tree for a better fit for our camper, and offered up duct tape when we found we were in need. You're on a secluded, wooded mountain top, with only two neighbors within a miles of you on a gravel road!

Road entrance with secure cable. Bigger view of the campsite. The old porch is from a long gone trailer. May make a good dry spot to settup a tent? Our campers spot! With the cool fresh air at night, we sat by the campfire, and at bed time opened the windows and listened to the soft sounds of nature with the windmill in the distance. A view on the road in.
