A 8x20 deck and picnic table are twenty feet from the fire for stargazing. When the ferns are full grown they are three feet tall and everywhere. A five minute walk takes you through a dense pine forest with large rock formations and a nice creek with many gurgling fall areas. If there looks like a cave amongst the large rocks, then it probably is a bear den. This spot is centered between Seven Springs, Falling Water house and Ohio Pyle.

Solid spot, would go again. The creek was a very short walk away, and the creek bed was a cool area to explore. Our dog had a great time, and found plenty of shade on a really hot day

So glad to hear everyone had a great time! The ferns are starting to curl out of the ground.

We loved camping at Jim’s land. It was secluded and quiet and honestly perfect for a little primitive winter camping.

5 Star! A magical mossy private world. This camp site was beyond what we expected. In the woods, but also areas of sunlight. Plenty of places to explore and close to nearby attractions. Very quiet and no light pollution! (as in you can’t see your hand in front of your face). Camp host supplied ample dry firewood and kindling. The deck and picnic table are a nice “luxury” for primitive campers! Will return one day for sure 😊⛺️

Thank you so much for the kind words! Hip Campers are great down to earth people. You are welcome back any time to our mossy green retreat. Thank you for leaving the spot as nice or better than you found it. Gratefully, Jim

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!🍃🏕💚What a wonderful little surprise. It was a very tidy, private, handsome site. A sweet deck with a picnic table and smaller prep table. Nice big fire pit, and just a little past the pit, a perfect spot to pitch a tent. If you get there with enough daylight, you could walk down the old logging road, (leftward & down hill) and find a number of delightful places to pitch a tent, hammock or mosquito net right beside the stream. There were hardly any insects/mosquitoes or flies. Can hear traffic far off, but seems another world away. We were a bit confused by instructions, one can come either way down road, so just Keep eye out for the # and stay left once on the drive... when you see deck and fire pit, you'll know you've arrived.
